Commencé comme un one man band instrumental en 2021, Matthieu Bonfardin s’associe avec d’Anne Soazig Couëdel (oui, c’est bien breton, Nantais plus exactement) en 2022 pour créer Near Death Experience.
Matthieu a joué et enregistré tous les instruments, Anne Soazig, s’occupant du chant.
Il se dit influencé par Katatonia, Paradise Lost, Draconian, Black Sabbath, Moonspell…, Anne Soazig par The Gathering, Nightwish…
Le 1er album est sorti le 12 avril 2024, sur le label M&O Music.
Ne pas confondre l’album avec l’EP (2 titres instrumentaux) sorti en 2021, avant la véritable création de Near Death Experience.
