Hi,
i´m from Reutlingen, a small town (120 000 people) near Stuttgart in the south of germany i think the mets aren´t too big, but too greedy to play for a real metal crowd… since 1986 they don´t play real metal anymore…Manowar aren´t more expensive like g´n´r i think but you are right quark, they just suck anyway hahaha
Just wanted to get another name with a « M » to get my "Triple « M » attack full hahaha Mercyful Fate is not impossible, since all members agreed to perform again. also they have a contract with Metal Blade, where they have to release another record and after that, they all say, the fans deserve a final tour :-). Misfits (with Dave Lombardo on the drums) will also be a extremely big thing regarding the millions of people, which owe nearly their complete attitude to the misfits…
Ehrlich gesagt, this is a bit more realistic than Met/MoW.
Welcome in the Asylum Blastfreak
Hi, I’m Roland -nicknamed Käptn Blaubär- from Germany. I’ve been to quite some festivals in the past - 11 times Wacken, 6 times RiP, a couple of visits to the Summer Spring, GMM, PartySan, Metal Days, Elbriot and so on. I usually travel in my motorhome, called the Wacken Hilton. I am surprised I’m turning 60 soon, don’t feel like that at all…
Next year I’m longing to see the hellfest and I hope to get all the information I need here as my French is truly bad…
welcome Blaubär
Do not afraid of your French, as my German is level zero
Herzlich willkommen im Forum!
Good thing I can speak both languages!
Welcome dude!
If you want to speak german I only speak Rammstein, anyway the English part of the forum is well filled so you don’t have to worry about that
Merci, thanks, danke
Hi, hello, Bon jour.
I’m Mike, came to Hellfest in 2015 & 2016 and will be coming again in 2018 with three of my crazy friends from Wales.
Best festival I’ve ever been to by far, can’t wait to visit again next year.
Welcome Mikemx
Huen ech niet erwaardet vun enem Lëtzebuerger! :o
Je n’avais pas attendu d’un luxembourgeois! :o
Didn’t expect that from a Luxemburger! :o
Hey guys, new here so decided to introduce myself…
I’m a 23yo guy from Finland coming to Hellfest for the second time (first time was 2015). Been to alot of festivals (Graspop,Copenhell,Rock fest Barcelona,Sonisphere Sweden,Tuska,Jalometalli etc) but none of them come even close to that best festival weekend of my life in Clisson…so I’m returning next year!
My favourite part of Hellfest by far was the organization and how well everything worked. The beer, the camping, showers, good food, and most of all,the friendliest people I’ve ever met!
My taste in metal is wide, but I have to say that my favourite band in the world is Iron Maiden, followed closely by King Diamond.
2015 had an amazing lineup IMO, with Priest, Body Count,At the Gates and Billy Idol on the same bill…simply great!hope they can match the previous lineups next year…
I’m more of an old-school metal guy,so here’s to hoping that they keep the Korns and Limp bizkits to a minimum,ha
Hoping to make alot of new friends next summer, see you all there!
I’ll be the dude drinking beer and sporting a Body Count cap in the pit
This is my first year for Hellfest and I am very excited! I am 44 and newly divorced. Heavy metal is my favorite and can’t believe the number of bands! I can’t wait until the full list comes out. On a side note, I am bringing my mother to France but not the festival. I have concerns about the transportation as I am not going to be able to camp there. I had to get a room at a B&B since I have my mom with me. I sure hope they have cabs waiting…or might have to rent a car and not drink:( That would suck!! Anyone else staying outside of the festival grounds??
Almost same situation but with my wife and little son. We’ll be in Nantes I think its better (for the others not not for me!)
I’m waiting for the 1 day tickets! and a Little bit worried for the end of the journey and the returning to Nantes.
Keep in touch!
I’ve stayed in Nantes the last 2 years and travelled back and forth to Hellfest. You can get the train across during the day and then the mini bus to the festival site. In an evening there are special buses back to Nantes that run regularly through the night and drop off back at the train station so try and get a hotel near there
Welcome all
Heading over form Ireland for 2018
