Hello,
I bought a ticket last year and I’ll be traveling from Kazakhstan. Could you tell what’s the best way to get to Clisson from Paris ?
Thanks in advance and see you at the festival!

There are buses going from Paris to Hellfest, but be aware you will have to leave early from Clisson on Monday. (2-3 in the morning!)
Edit Piaf zegt: Apparently the bus travels in between France are either complete, or just terminated.
Otherwise there’s the train, run by SNCF. All info is on [url=http://www.sncf.com/en/passengers]www.sncf.com/en/passengers and the station you want to go to is also Clisson. (near Nantes) From Clisson station, there will be shuttle buses to the Hellfest area. (for €2 a single trip I think)
If I’m well informed, the SNCF will put in extra trains from Nantes to Clisson.
You can try carpooling with others metalheads
Hello Hellfesters!! I’m Lorelei, I’ll be visiting this year’s Hellfest (among others) all the way from BRIBANE, AUSTRALIA, and all by my lonesome. This is my first European trip, and, well by the time Hellfest opens, it’ll be my 3rd festival ever!! ( I don’t count 70,000 Tons of Metal as a proper festival ). Yep, while on one hand I’ll be a complete noob, at the same time I’ll be an old hand at this stuff.
I’m going to be in Europe for 3 months, and during that time, I’ll be attending 5.25 metal festivals!!! It’s gonna be epic!! So don’t be a stranger!! I hate being alone at awesomely huge events like this, so I’ll be looking out for a group of people to adopt me. I’m funny, trustworthy, great conversationalist, better listener and I’ve been vaccinated! So please consider me when you’re thinking of adopting a new international metal friend. Remember, a metalhead’s for concerts and festivals, not necessarily for life!!
Whellcome EveryFairyDies.
As you’ve been vaccinated, you will find others during the Fest for drinking, speaking and headbanging.
It will be also easier if you arrive on thursday .
Thanks for the welcome Mac Seb! I also posted in the ‹ introduce yourself › thread, which is a much more interesting and amusing post, if I do say so myself, but I’ll mention here also that I will be getting to Hellfest via a charted coach courtesy of Argon Events (they are the most awesome travel package festival tour company EVER!! I would not be able to have this 3 month experience if it weren’t for them!).
I’ll be leaving from Nottingham, and I do believe the bus is expected to arrive on Thursday. I understand it’s going to be a long journey, but that’s the advantage of living in Australia. EVREYWHERE’S a long journey! So you get used to being stuck in a car/bus/train for hours on end. At least on that bus, I should be able to find someone with whom I share at least one interest with. It may be something random, like my singular interest in attempting to physically move the entire landmass that is Australia close to Europe via some kind of dolphin/kangaroo gene-spliced hybrid. Or maybe something more generic, like my preference fir randomly dying my hair unnatural colors. Either way, it should be interesting!!! Or really really really boring and tiresome, I guess, if for some reason no one wants to talk to me cause I’ve scared you all off with these rambling, psychotic posts.
Damnit!! I did it again!!
I replied there (introduce yourself)
Ok, so I’ll ask this here, just to make you have to flip back and forth through threads ? Is Quark a reference to Star Trek Deep Space 9, or have I just managed to reveal myself for the loser dork I am instead of the cool, talkative and interesting newcomer?
Nope, you are not the loser etc. that you thought you were, but it’s indeed the reference to DS9.
I like that character on Star Trek.
Oh don’t worry honey, we already have a member mastering the subject writing carburator dung posts AND never stop talking irl! May I introduce emersmontai! {)
Oh no Pierrothemad!!! Please let Emers stays in the french topics ] ] ]
I really thought Quark was the german word for what the french call « fromage blanc »
I found out about it later on, as I was on the Wacken forum. But it was intentionally ment as the Star Trek character.
jpkv, I will never think of Quark the same way now! ]
Thank goodness I’m used to it!
Now whatever you explain about you Quark, ‹ fromage blanc › will be the only one ] ] ]
Dat is méir Worst!
I’ll be coming solo from South Africa. Keen to setup camp with some fellow loners!
If anyone on here is so incline, come join the CouchSurfing event I have created for this: https://www.couchsurfing.com/events/hellfest-open-air-2016
Dear loser… i mean loner,
if you’re lonely and desperate then quit being a whiney little b!tch and pm me: we’ll meet you at the fest, beer you up, and actively tolerate your existence.
We’re nice, fluffy, can speak english, and don’t usually murder strangers.
