Your questions about Hellfest!

Hey this might also be good news for those of us with a backpack full o crap to lug around!

I couldn’t find the answer to my question anywhere in the FAQ session nor Info page, so hopefully somebody will be able to help here.

We are flying (5 ppl) from Brazil and renting a Motorhome in Paris, then driving to Clisson for Hellfest. I read motorhome’s are not aloud in the campsite, which is only for tents and I understand it. It says on the FAQ session that Motorhome campers will be able to park and camp at the PARKING LOT, but its not suggested for security reasons. I wonder what they mean with this?

Also, i can’t see in any map where the parking lot is located, will we be able to walk back to our motorhome during the day to get some rest, drinks, etc?

Lastly, for those who’ve been to Hellfest before, are there usually a lot of motorhomes/campervans at the festival area?

Appreciate your help!!

And for those wondering why we are not just renting a regular car and getting a tent at the regular camp, reason is that we are heading to Graspop in Belgium the weekend after Hellfest so the motorhome will help, and Graspop has a speciall camp for motorhomes with electricity and everything you need.

Cheers!!

Hey Felpa,

Some other dude asked something similar a few pages back. Anyway, there shouldn’t be any problem (security & stuff) so go for it. And there actually are alot of people with motorhomes.

I think that the parking area isn’t yet determined or something, coz it doesn’t appear on the maps given (right?) but it should obviously be possible to come/go from parking area to the festival site during the day without much annoyance (I can’t imagine them putting it 3 kilometers away or something…). Hope it helps.

Some car parks will unfortunately be quite far from the campsite this year.

Hello, This will be my first festival ever! I am wondering if the shuttles are easy to get for 2 people from Hellfest to Nantes every morning and night. Is it easier for more than 2 people? we may have a party of anywhere from 2-6 people.

If we have extra tickets for Hellfest, is it very easy to resell? even for a lower price? Do a lot of people need tickets after Hellfest is sold out?

If a band puts you on the guestlist, does that mean access to all 3 days or just 1 day? does it also mean we will get backstage passes or just free entry?

Hi, it seems the festival grounds arrangements have changed quite a bit. But my question is, is it still at the same place as previous years? My main interest is, has the distance from Le Clerc (or whatever it was) changed much?

the place is a little bit closer to the leclerc.

have emailed taxi firm for shuttles as in previous years, no reply though after a couple of weeks? is all ok with this setup?

Still OK with the set up. Will get some update from the staff during the week and will forward it here.

thanks

Hi will there be cidre/cider this year? as it ruined last year’s hellfest for me and my girlfriend was there any reason why?.

Due to unexpected circumstances my friend is unable to travel with me this year but would like to give his ticket to another friend who’d like to go. I don’t recall any issues with ID checks the past years but is there any problem in my other friend using the ticket unchanged or does the name on the ticket need to be amended? Would rather not have to go through the hassle of selling on the trading site when its a simple transfer between friends…there’s no option to modify a ticket as such, just to sell…

There should not be any ID checks (that would take a hell of a time).

@diseasedmind: You can just email digitick and they can change the name for you.

Hi! Me and one friend are going to Hellfest for the first time, we are looking so fucking much forward for this since we have been wanting to go for ages. However, we come from sweden and had to fly to Paris at the 13/6 because there was no tickets left for the 14th. Do any of you have experence if there is a hardcore way where u tent somewhere close to the area the night before? I have no clue about laws in france so please fill me in if im planning something really stupid!

I don’t think it’s allowed to camp if it’s not on an official camp site. Besides, it’s likely that cops will be already watching around the area on wednesday.

You should check the availability for the city’s camping: http://www.mairie-clisson.com/module-Contenus-viewpub-tid-2-pid-237.html
It’s sold out for the duration of the festival, but not for the day before. If you want to have one last good sleep before the fest, you could also book a room in a cheap hotel in Nantes.

yeah, thank you! We started to look at places in nantes aswell. I guess we will just go there and hope that its not full the night before.

PLEASE TELL ME IF THERE WILL BE CIDER/CIDRE SERVED THIS YEAR!!!?.

Yes.
