Hi Guys,

I am brazilian. I'ts a pleasure for me having a chance to join my first Hellfest. It will be also my first big festival. However, I'm very lost. Could you kindly help me with some questions?
  1. The 3 day ticket is sold out. Where can I buy it now?

  2. Is there a train line from Paris to Clisson?

  3. Can I rent a tent and another related stuffs at Hellfest?

  4. Is it safe to keep our bags inside the tent while we are having fun around the festival?

    Thanks in advance!

Please read FAQ section of the English part of the forum

  1. try this => http://billetterie.gdp.fr/uk/search/recherche/Hellfest%20Open%20Air
  2. yes there are train from Paris to Nantes and from Nantes to Clisson
  3. No tent to rent
  4. Tents are note safe during the festival: it remains the « Black Point »…

And Digitick is ok now… But don’t waste your time
Sold out is near …

You can generally buy tents in the local La Clerc which is 10 minutes walk from the grounds for not a great amount of money. I have never had any hassle with any of my bags.

Hi all,

My mates and I have just booked our tickets and were just after some information.

  • What time do we need to be there on the Friday?
  • Is there a limit on booze/ any glass not allowed etc
  • How much is a beer in the area area/ can you take your own in (although im sure I know the answer)
  • Anyone have a map of the site from last year so we have a general idea of whats going on and the layout?

Cheers for your help.

@stand sure

  • Festival area opens around 10am, and shows 10h30. If I remember well that is. I recommend coming Thursday if you’re staying at the camping, as most people arrive that day during the afternoon (and it’s also more time to party !!!). Some even come on Wednesday, so it’s up to you.

  • Outside festival area, no restrictions at all for anything. Glass not allowed on the festival ground. You can eventually bring a cup or bottle without cap with some booze.

  • Beer in the area is 2euros if I remember (+1 for the cup). Pitches of beer are proportionately more expensive (12 euros ???). Can’t remember that much.

  • This was festival area in 2013 http://docs.hellfest.fr/datas/2013/plan.pdf

Anybody knows about the best route to go to Hellfest with car? I mean, what roads do You recommend to get there? I will come from Spain

Or is better follow my GPS jaja.

Thanks, Metalheads!

@Kino92: it dépends of what do you prefer. You can take the highway (but have to pay for it and it’s a bit expensive) or follow the National Roads, free, but it takes more time to get there.
Where are you in Spain?

Dude, I live in Málaga (Andalucía) the southest part of Spain jajaja, I dont mind if I need to spend some € in highways by the way, or do part in highway and another in national roads. But I never drive in France, and I am a little afraid of it.

I’ll depart two days before the fest begins, I dont mind about the time too, with some advices about the best ways to get there, is enough :).

Thanks!

I’m not a GPS but if I had to do it, I’ll drive to pais basco, cross the border at Irun, head to Bordeaux then La Rochelle, take the direction of Nantes to arrive in Clisson.
That’s a long way (to the top) if you wanna rock’n roll, but you’ll have nice roads, nice coutryside and be able to make a bit of tourism during the trip!

Buenas Kino92, I’m also from southern spain (Granada here jejeje). And I think the indications given by pierrolefoo are the best for the trip. Doing Malaga-Madrid-Basque Country (direction San Sebastian later Biarritz)-Bordeaux-La Rochelle-Clisson(Nantes direction) is the best thing to do.

I never did it in one go myself, but rather through a few stages (currently residing in southern france)… Good luck coz you’re in for a 15h+ trip !!!

Sup people.

So my girlfriend was thinking of getting a ticket on the Sunday. In all likelihood will she be allowed access to the campsite at any point in the day, or am I going to have to leave her somewhere every time I go back for supplies?

I stumbled on [url=http://clashfinder.com/s/hfp2014/?user=01gbyo.e6&]this clashfinder, is it likely to be representative of the times this year?

Cheers.

Sneeze, unlike other festivals like cough cough Motocultor, Hellfest allows even people with a 1-day ticket to move in and out of the concert area as they please

That’s good news indeed, cheers. Quite liking the relaxed nature of the festival; particularly like being able to take in your own booze. I can’t imagine that at an English festival.

Wait, you can take in your own booze but only in the campsite, be careful. Technically, you can’t bring your own booze inside the festival area, and I said technically, because most of the time they’ll let you in if you’re using an official Hellfest cup or jug.

I see. I saw photos of some friends with huge jugs of booze from last year’s Hellfest from what appeared to be taken in the arena. It must have been that then (or pitchers they bought in the arena). Usually I’ve no issue going back and forth and drinking in the campsite but it doesn’t look like there’ll be many breaks between bands I want to see this year. I’ll figure something out, haha.

With my friends we have a habit of loading our pitchers (bought in the arena) with home-made cocktails at the campsite before going to the shows, and nobody bothered up. As long as you don’t bring in a bottle or can of your own, they’re mostly okay with it.

Best thing a friend of mine did: he snuggled in a 5 liters bag of wine under his shirt, and kept drinking from it with a pipe during the shows (okay, he ended up shitfaced like no other, but still it was awesome ^^)

Ha, yeah some friends partook in those bag things at Bloodstock. Looks like a good idea indeed!

Hi folks. Looks like 2014 will sell out so I just got my tickets in time! :o

I now have a ticket question for which I couldn’t find the answer elsewhere on the forum, though others must’ve had the same query. The two tickets I have bought both have the same name on them - will this be an issue for my friend whose name is of course different to mine?!

I don’t think it will, I was never asked for an ID, neither did my friends…
