Your questions about Hellfest!

They will, no worries!
Every decent, self respecting big festival, will publish its map a few days before it all starts. (give or take a few weeks of course  ), so people can have some kind of orientation. HF did the same last year.

hey all
couple of us going to hellfest for first time from the Orkney and Shetland islands. were using argon travel and cause we getting old haha (35-40 ) we opted for the hotel / coach package . any you guys had any dealing or used them , any points to watch for ?

Hi.
Will it be possible to buy tickets on a day of the festival on the site? Thanks

Hi
Only if you are under 17 (half price) and accompagnied by an adult.

So, if you are 18 or more you have to check on the official site http://hellfest.zepass.com/ and wait… wait… wait for an alert ( put your email)

Edit : check the hellfest website

Hi
I want to ask about the special fares with Air France, the info page says:

"With AIR FRANCE, benefit from special fares through our alliance with Air France & KLM Global Meetings!

Once you buy your festival pass, we will send you a reduction code detailing the offer and the duration of the promotion."

I bought 2 festival pass, but i didn’t receive the mail with the reduction code. Any info about this?

Thanks.

And it’s not in the mail with the festival tickets?

Hi mate,
do you already know in which hotel you’ll stay and what is the distance to festival site? It’s difficult to answer you unless you have detailed information. :stuck_out_tongue:
I’m glad you come to Hellfest, you’re going to have a hell of a week-end!

I think you have to contact Air France and ask where you can find this reduction code.

Where is the best place to park a campervan?

hey mate , staying in the ibis in Nantes , argon said theres a transfer to the venue and back , just wondering what the digs n travel like . never been so just doing bit of recon. and wheres the nearest bar ! lol . cheers

There’s a shuttle service, between the festival and Nantes. You can check the official Q&A here: [url=http://www.hellfest.fr/en/infospratique/faq/]http://www.hellfest.fr/en/infospratique/faq/
If I can remember what written past years, the shuttle service is run by a company nammed Ambulance Douillard and you have to pay something like 2 to 5€ to use it. Or you can wait for the carpooling topic, which will be on line around March probably.

More informations will be added in thext months, so check it on regular basis.

Nearest bar from what, your hotel? If you’re in the center of Nantes, you won’t have to go far to find one, don’t worry ]

It’s really disappointing :frowning: . One more question then. If I’ll buy Pass&Bus, will it be OK, if I won’t use the bus?

Pass is given into the bus.
If you want a pass, wait for a resell. Zepass.com or here on the forum. Every year hundreds of passes are sold.

Sorry Pierre, I think you’re wrong here.
It’s €2 for the transfer Clisson STATION - Hellfest by (Ambulance) Douillard. (per trip) (and/or in the zone Clisson)
If I’m correct, Douillard may offer a service NANTES - HF, but it’ll be more like €10/trip, and a reservation is to be made in advance. (read the FAQ at that time)
And it’s the latter which has some kind of a bad sound, as I saw some who had bad expericences with that shuttle!
But (during daytime) SNCF offers a reduced ticket Loire-Atlantique (any station within the region) - Clisson. From Clisson, the shuttles are wating at the station.

Cheers Quark but that’s not good news :frowning:
So, use car pooling guys!!!

Well, the shuttle Clisson station - HF was quite OK. Especially on Thursday & Monday, I had no probs whatsoever. I happened to see a shuttle to Nantes (airport?) as well, but that was with reservation. (and it didn’t go to Nantes station either, as far as I knew)

So… either carpooling, or the train and shuttle CLISSON-HF.

Hi

See my earlier comments in this thread regarding the Shuttle bus to Nantes. It only goes to and from the airport I believe, not into the centre of Nantes but maybe you can ask to clarify. We were staying near the airport and it was based there every day. Yes, it is not £2, last year we paid 10euros each to go in, and 15euros each to come back in the evening. It must be pre-booked not that doing that did us much good. Really would avoid if possible. Being in Nantes you are about 30-40km away from the festival so a distance away.

There is a great rock bar with live bands in Nantes to spend Thursday evening Le Fereullier (or something like that). great atmosphere but a bit hard to find.
