Your questions about Hellfest!

Hey there!
I am a Hellfest first-timer travelling from Germany and I have a question on camping chairs and whether they are allowed inside the arena? I’ve been to festivals in the UK and it wasn’t a problem there. I browsed the FAQ section and couldn’t find anything related to forbidden items (other than animals :stuck_out_tongue: ) but judging from the general rules I might be out of luck.

Thx

@VampC:
No information yet on that for 2016, but during last editions it was allowed.

I am also from Germany, and also a first time traveller,
where are you from? Maybe we could team up.

I´m from southern Germany, an hour North-east of Stuttgart

@HappyCulteur:
Thanks for the info! That’s a good premise for this year

@Angrist:
Yes that’d be great! Are you also by your lonesome?
Right now I am waiting on more info on the Air France special rate. The flight time is quite tempting. If it is too expensive I am making a road trip out of it with a potential stop-over in Kaiserslautern, where I am originally from. So this could actually work. Where exactly are you based?

I´ve sent you an Email,

Edit: Yes I´m also travelling alone right now (The main Problem is, that although some people are interested in the Festival, no was was willing to buy the tickets one year in advance and now they are sold out)

Im probably going to be roadtrippin from Holland, 10hr drive. I thought about flying, but I guess it can be quite a hassle with oddly sized luggage such as a big backpack, tent, (folding) chairs, etcetera? The cost isnt so much the issue, just think driving (with a possible stop somewhere along the French coast, 2hrs away from the festival) will be much easier.

IF I can get a pass (3 days), I’ll probably go by train again. As I cannot drive, and I don’t pay anything anyways in Belgium, I think it’s the easiest thing to do. As long as I can avoid going through Paris though. Otherwise it’s going to be a disaster! :smiley: ]:smiley:

:smiley: VampC, Angrist, Ihr seid Deutsch : warum sprechen englisch zusammen ?!!! :wink:

Welkom in België, waar de wegen op gatenkaas lijken! :smiley:
Welcome to Belgium, where the road look like Swiss cheese! :smiley:

Because I thought It would be rude to suddenly start writing German in a French/English Forum.

Hey ! Welcome to all the new one ! Nice to meet you ! :slight_smile:

Und weil das netter ist, die anderen gegenüber.
Außerdem mögen die Mods verstehen was ihr schreibt.

Because it’s nicer to the others. Besides, the mods like to know what you’re writing about.

See you soon in Clisson, la ville la plus métal de France, e arrivederci a voi due !!!

We Want to Know when you used it !!

I used it once for an integration week-end in my school. We were dressed up like « sado-masochist », it was the theme for our party… 8o
And once in a bar because there was a German (in Brittany !). He understood and laughed. Then he was fired from the bar because he was singing too loud. That’s it. :8
