Don’t worry dude, you’ll find loads of people (trying to) speak english and help you
Hey, it’s me again. I saw, there’s not only a special parking for disabled people, but camping as well. We are 7 people, of which one has a wheelchair. Of course we rather don’t want to use different camping areas, but on the other hand I can imagine that the special camping area capacities are limited…
Hmm. That might actually not be such a bad idea! I might consider doing it as well. If it’s easy to find. (and if I can find it)
Since I’m solo…
But does anyone know where I can find it? I haven’t seen any map of the campings! (colours, easy camp etc.)
Don’t you see my map ?

(it seems orange and purple are inverted, I was not sure as I don’t go that far!)
concerning the camping for disabled people, I think it is next to the parking, near the rond point de la guitare
But I’m not sure!
Ello again, was hoping somebody could give me some info.
I’m taking the bus from Paris to the festival, it says on my ticket it departs from Place de la Nation at 8am tomorrow and I was just wondering if someone can confirm that is indeed correct. My luck might be running out soon so I figure best to be safe and make sure nothing has changed! Thanks dudes!
It should be written on your ticket! If it says so, it’ll probably be true.
TIP: Be there ONE hour in advance, just to be sure!
That’s the plan! I couldn’t think of a reason it wouldn’t be true except that the world thinks I like screwing myself over.
Pray for me dudes.
Sometimes, you had to trust French people Hard to do, I know, but you have to get use to it if you want to go to Hellfest and come back
Hi folks - rather than start a new thread I thought I’d leave some feedback about 2016 here. Lots of goods (and just a couple of bads) for 2016:
-
Great work with the multiple entries to the camping areas - this is a good idea and I hope you continue this into future events. Saved us a lot of time walking from carparking areas going back through the full entrance/precinct/metal corner etc. We did notice a few late comers trying to get into the camping without having checked in with tickets for wristbands so some clarity on that front would be useful.
-
Police presence: could be wrong but seemed to be up on previous years, which was also a plus. No harm in having some extra security around to deter the bad eggs. I think I saw just one suspect individual in the campsite over the whole weekend. More police at future events will continue to be appreciated.
-
Lockers: probably the most efficient process I’ve seen so far. Quick, easy and probably reasonable value for money despite an apparent upgrade in the festival’s general security.
-
Toilets: plenty of them except for girls’ loos inside the music arena
-
Parking and traffic: this was a mess to be frank! We parked outside someone’s house very close to the festival on the Thursday which was fine, but had to go on an errand on the Saturday. As you can imagine this meant losing “our” space, which was expected, but we then found it extremely difficult to find another space – even in the designated carparks, which had been closed despite evidently having spare spaces in them. It then took well over an hour for us just to leave Carpark 2 on the Monday morning due to a bottle-neck going up to the church. Seemed there was no one around to direct traffic left at the church junction (out of town) instead of allowing them all to turn right into town at the slowest pace.

Music arena. The layout this year seemed excellent. A couple of ropey sounds issues down at the front by Main Stage 1 but otherwise great. Quick through the entrance and fairly easy to get around. Lots of fantastic bands too – thanks!
Any chance of learning about who’s on next year in advance of ticket sales?!
News from the Orga. about 2016 and 2017:

Do you know if there is a way to buy a 2016 Shirt? I haven’t been able to buy anything except alcohol at the Festival itself…
The Hellfestshop is not open yet, if there is still 2016 shirts, you could buy them on the e-shop
Actually it is open… but they have only old shirts or plain Hellfest shirts yet.
in the French parts the French complain about « touristes ».
Do they have problems with all the foreigners/nonfrench ?
Haha absolutly not!!! It’s about people sitting in chairs in the crowd or people who come to Hellfest to show off and not for the gigs.
Don’t worry, after attending german festivals for years I’m glad to share my home fest with foreign people!!
No! Tourist is not used here for foreigner people!
No ! !! Not at all !
We are always amazed to see that people come from the whole world to share the fest.
By « tourist » we mean « people that come to a music festival but not for the music » (or something like that).
You probably seen them during a show, they are here, siting on their chair, talking/eating/drinking like they are on a Sunday picnic, refusing to move even if they dislike the show, more often they event criticized the band speaking louder and annoying people around that come for the f*cking MUSIC.
These kind of people that go to all type of festival saying that they « just have to change the shirt »
unsure if I am clear or not…
Anyway, it’s not about you, it’s about them
Ah ok, now I get it, yeah in Germany we call them Festival tourists.
If it wouldn´t be against the law, I would just post a guard at each ticketing Station.
Those who can´t Name 5 bands that Play at the Festival, should be shot on the spot
A lot of tickets were sold before they announced any bands, so… XD
with ticketing Station I mean the entrance to the Festival where you get the bracelet for your ticket.
