Hi, I’m mike.
I must first start by apologising to the mods for my post on Tuesday looking for sellers of tickets, it was wrong and was rightly deleted.
Anyway after missing out on the sales of 2019 I managed to get myself a ticket yesterday for the second weekend and couldn’t be happier. I’m sorry for those who didn’t, I know how much everyone on here and in the metal family love it so much, especially when loosing out to those who come but aren’t into metal. I couldn’t imagine myself going to a festival where none of the music is to my taste, just doesn’t make sense.
This time round I am learning French to try and improve on my very basic knowledge, so hopefully by next year I will be able to have basic conversations or at least order my food and drink in French without looking like a fool
je suis très excité
I have a question regarding private ticket resale.
I’ve been told that it is possible to change the name on the personalized tickets once.
Is it save to buy tickets like that? Or will the old ticket holder still have access to the festival and « steal » the entrance?
Unless you know the seller well and trust them, I would highly recommend you do not buy this way. The only official reseller is Ticketswap, once the ticket is sold the old name and code are replaced so the buyer has a new legitimate ticket.
If you buy otherwise the seller can turn up before you with the same ticket and gain entrance before you and you will be denied entry.
Via Ticketswap, you can change the name, and also the barrecode will be automaticly be changed, so the old one will be cancelled and access to the HF refused.
But please, only use Ticketswap.
If you use Ticketswap, the only official way to swap a ticket, the ticket will be reedited with your personal informations and a new QR Code. The original seller will not be able to use his ticket anymore. Hope it helps
Hey all, so happy I got a ticket for extra days, this will be first time going to Hellfest and just have a few questions.
1.Are there normally lockers to hire? Do we pay for them in advance or just hire when you get to site.
2.Is it worth bringing your own beers? Are there local shops around we can buy beer from or shops on-site. Is it just your normal bars and stalls at the festival?
What’s the weather like generally, do I need more than a tent and sleeping bag?
Thanks in advance, can’t wait to see you all there!!!
Yes there are locker, you’ve got to reserve them, and there is more ask than bid, you’d better not miss the day
You can bring your booze on the campsite, and you got a supermarket around. And in site itself, normal bar as you say, and walking guys to full up your glass
Tent, sleeping bag and rain clothes, just in case, but we’ve got a specialist of weather forecast on the forum and few days before the event we will know for almost sure
Nice one cheers, I will make sure I check the site nearer the time for lockers.
I lose things otherwise and don’t trust myself to not lose my passport and not be able to go home.
Greetings to you all.
We are lucky and thrilled to have been able to by a 1 day ticket for friday to see the NIN show.
We will especially come from germany and are not really up for camping and like to get a apparment somewhere near by and connect it with a smal holiday.
I was wondering if there is any experience if I could come by car and park somewhere within walking range, or at the festival parking? Or are there (enough) taxies that we might use alternatively? Its probably going to get late and we are concerned not to strand shelterless.
I would be really greatfull for some hints, so this will be a great experience. So far I was not able to find decisive Info about that.
It is pretty hard to park around the Hellfest site. You may have to walk around 25 to 30 to reach your car.
Calling a Taxi service will cost you a lot of money sadly. I know some of us are renting some appartements during the festival and I hope someone on here will be able to give you more details.
Thanks for the Info! 30min walk would still be acceptable. If its « allowed » to park somewhere around and not getting into trouble for that (dont want to find the car towed afterwards :)). This would be good to know.
Right now its really hard to find even an appartment to rent, but we’re not giving up so fast. If some of you know of some option in addiion to the obvoius ooking sites (where is basicaly no availablilty), this would be much appreciated.
