Hellfest 2022 - Common talks

I think it is first come first serve. It is my first hellfest as well.

« We invite you to arrive 1 hour before the departure of your train to facilitate boarding from Paris and Lyon. Trains are free seating and without guarantee of 1st class. »

I am wondering why the train (#2)takes 7 hours to get from Paris to Clisson. Does it make local stops along the way ?

Confirmed. If you don’t, you’d risk that you have to leave the camping.

For the Cashless, I reckon it’ll be one account, as you’ll have one wristband for both festivals.

Thanks Quark. Much appreciated!

Fortunately access to the campsite is not an issue, I’m staying nearby this time and using the extra days to spend more time exploring the area, but good to know that I shouldn’t have to queue up for wristband allocation twice.

Hey All!

Just wanted to confirm a couple of things if possible please.
*Will Easy camp for week 2 be opening on the 23rd? I have a crazy train pass and was wondering if i need to find somewhere to stay on the 22nd.
*Are cameras allowed in to the festival grounds?

Cheers! :horns:

The easy camp opens on the 22nd for those who have tickets with transport. Below is the email I recieved.

I have a Hellfest Part 2 TRANSPORT PACK
and
an EASY CAMP Part 2 ticket

and I would like to exceptionally access
at my accommodation from the evening of June 22.

Thanks to my Hellfest Part 2 TRANSPORT PACK, I arrive in Clisson on June 22, 2022 and I wish to benefit from privileged access to Easy Camp because it officially opens on June 23. I have noted that campers who sleep with me during the festival and who arrive in Clisson by their own means cannot benefit from this privileged access.
Further information :
I am one of the campers of the same EASY CAMP accommodation and I also have a TRANSPORT PACK, I can benefit from the same access if I wish.

To benefit from your privileged access to EASY CAMP on June 22, present yourself at the entrance of EASY CAMP with your TRANSPORT PACK and your EASY CAMP ticket preferably between 6 and 9 p.m.

The control of your EASY CAMP ticket and the validation of all the campers who make up your accommodation will take place on June 23 during the official opening. Do not forget to present yourself to the control officers to receive the EASY CAMP bracelet and fully benefit from all its services.

If you do not want to sleep at Easy Camp on the evening of June 22, disregard this message and show up on June 23.
To provide a quality reception service, privileged access cannot be authorized in all other cases, thank you for your understanding.

Awesome, thanks for that Mike!

hi all… i’ve solved my previous question about selling the easycamp access… thanks for the help…

now i have new inquiries:

  1. I’ve bought through ticketswap a 4days access and train 2 Paris-Clisson… my wife bought those tickets the same day they went on sale… are this the same train? (the ticket she has says 4 Days pass //2// Paris Austerlitz <> Clisson (transport pack) //2//, mine says Pass 4J + Train //2// Paris-Clisson Pack Transport

  2. We are going with our daughter, she’s 12… i know we need to buy her ticket on site, but wat about train?

Thanks in advice!

For people who are travelling to Clisson by train, either Crazy Train or ordinary SNCF trains, as from Monday, May 16h, wearing a facemask is no longer compulsory on trains and stations in France.
It is however advised to wear one,if you’re vulnerable, concerning your health.

1- It seems to be the same train (number 2).

2- It will be strange if you don’t need one for her. Explain your case to the controller before boarding the train. He will provide you with a ticket.

Hey everyone, had a question about the crazytrain.

First time going to Hellfest and I got a Paris/Clisson train ticket via Ticketswap. The Hellfest site says train tickets are non-transferable but Ticketswap advised to to email sncf.

I have emailed sncf but not heard back from them. Has anyone bought a similar ticket from Ticketswap and had any luck with transferring the details?

Thanks in advance
Christian

Hello all,
After a lot of chase, I was able this year to find my ticket for HF2.
Could someone that knows the festival’s camping area well, share with us some tips? I am interested mainly in where would be a good spot for us to set our tent (if of course, we find space on the 22nd evening that we will reach the hell ground). I can attach a screenshot of the camp area that I found only if needed.

Er, camping won’t open until 23rd! Only the people who come by Crazy Train (SNCF special train) or Ontours bus can enter the 22nd.
So, if you’re amongst one of those, I’d say, the place that is still available. I reckon many will stay between the 2 festivals and not go home!

But maybe someone else might shed a light into it!

@Quark thank you for your prompt reply and for pointing me that I will not be able to set my tent on the 22th (a very inconvenient festival decision). I will wait in case any other visitor could share more tips on the best camping place available. I would even dare to ask if any fellow that will be in HF1 as well, could potentially reserve a space for us too.

Since 2018 or 2019, the sections of campsites purple, orange and yellow have been created outside the initial campsite ( look on the map). I believe that the installation on these sections was not regulated because they are not completely barriered. You might find a place to pitch your tent in this sections. Things change every year so I’m not sure that’s going to be true this year.

I’ve asked the following question in the FAQ section.

In short, while charging my cashless card (in Dutch!), I recieved the following message. « Het online opwaarderen is beschikbaar vanaf 27 juni. » (charging online is available AS FROM June 27). Since I do speak (a bit) French, I checked the message there, and it says « … available until June 27. ».

Has anyone else encountered the same in any other language? English? Español? Deutsch?

Info: my Cashless has been charged. That went smoothly. It’s just that one phrase that scared me off this morning.

Is hellcity square and metal corner outside the secure festival grounds? Looks like both hellfest cult fan zone and lockers are in metal corner.
Also what time will they begin to distribute wristbands for HF2 on Thursday?

Hi

The metal corner is located inside the festival grounds and can not be accessed without ticket/wristband. I’m unsure about what time the wirstbands open on Thursday but seeing as the first concert is around 15:00h I would assume it would be early as to allow people to set up camp and make their way to the main stages. Hope this helps

It does help thanks, was trying to get the two maps hellfest posted to match up. Hellcity and metal corner were oriented different on each one.

Anybody else going from Nantes to Hellfest daily? Looks like it will cost 8€ each way per person right? 5€ for the train and 3€ for the shuttle?

Good evening everyone,

Not sure if this was asked before, If so sorry for the repeated question.

Regarding the easy camping:

This is the given information:
Duo tent : 1 cardboard tent with 1 foam mattress per person, 1 lamp and 2 kits (duvet, camping chair, bath towel, hygiene kit): €210

Tipi duo : 1 tipi 3m in diameter with 2 mattresses and 1 lamp: €290

duo comfort formula : 1 lamp and 2 comfort kits (foam mattress with fireproof cover, duvet 140 x 200 cm, pillow 60 x 60 cm, bed sheets, bath sheets, hygiene kit): €422

Does the tipi duo also include the : duvet, camping chair, bath towel, hygiene kit) like the cardboard tents???

Thanks in advance,

See you soon
Stephan
