Hi guys I am a 40 year old dude from The Netherlands and this will be my first Hellfest, really looking forward to it. Speaking about the bigger festivals I usually go to Graspop and Wacken, but always wanted to see hellfest and now we finally will. Can’t wait to see the first band anouncements, for headliners I really hope for Metallica, System of a Down and Guns 'n Roses!
I’m a 41 year old from sunny Portugal but I dare you to guess my age if you met me!
I already have my 3 day pass and it will me my second time at Hellfest.
I listen to a lot of stuff and for me, one of the greatest strenghts of Hellfest is having such a high quality musical offer, from black metal to stoner rock.
I’ve been to some other festivals abroad - not metal oriented - like Reading 3x, Roskilde 2x, Benicassim 2x, Primavera Sound, Eurockeennes and Sonar.
Cheers!
Ive unfortunately never been to Dynamo Open Air, i just started going to gigs and festivals in my early 30’s as I never understood the appeal of all that hassle while I can just enjoy music in the comfort of my own home. Yeah I was a dumb teenager being too busy playing video games. Such a shame, as I am pretty sure I would’ve enjoyed all this tremendously back in the days, it just never occurred to me until I found out about 7 years ago…
I think you also welcomed me on the wacken forums a couple of years ago lol cheers again
my french is terrible but I think in the french section they are saying that just a thousand tickets are left.
Granted I don´t know whether they released all of the tickets for sale, but since Hellfest was such an amazing festival last year, I now bought myself a ticket, and screw all those people I asked a week ago, who can´t decide on whether they want to visit hellfest
Hello all from the UK! Next year will be my very first Hellfest after many years of wanting to attend. I’m pretty pumped about it! It all seems a bit confusing with the cashless system and the « water bracelet » thing, but I’m sure I’ll adapt. After only doing Bloodstock for many years, it’s a bit of a shock to the system, haha.
One quick question: I speak next to no French, is that something I should rectify or will I get by OK?
Hi Amata ! Whellcome !
And yes, a little bit of French will be necessary to survive as French aren’t good English speaker.
But you will always found motivate people to help you
Haha bit of a mixed response here, but I should probably remind myself how to say « Sorry I don’t speak French ». Although my French pronunciation is so awful it’s probably a warcrime.
