IF (and I said IF) stage order is the same than last year it will be
Main Stage 2 / Altar / Valley
then
Main Stage 1 / Temple / Warzone.
Main Stage 2 and 1 are stick together.
Altar and Temple were in one huge tent, now are separate tents but still glued.
Temple is really near to Valley.
playing times aren’t equals at all. As day advance playing gone longer.
Some show on Main Stage 1 can took 2h.
Around 16h it starts to have some shifts.
It starts as 30 minutes each band, doesn’t matter the stage, then 40 mn, etc… but, reaching 5 o’clock, some bands start to play a tiny bit longer on some stages, then the overlapping starts.
Little update and bad news for the Valley (again).
Down cancelled European Tour
Fu Manchu become Saturday’ headliner of the Valley
Puscifer will play on Sunday
Message from Phil Anselmo
« Dearest Ben-
Philip H. Anselmo here Brother…
First, and foremost, there is NO WAY I can possibly thank you enough for « fighting the good fight » for me, and ALL of my bands, namely Down in this instance. Your love & backbone will never be forgotten, and from this point on through the rest of my fighting life, I owe you every ounce of praise!
My AWFUL mistake has taken a toll on my reputation, and justly so! However I must point out, you damned-well KNOW ME better than this drunken incident could ever describe.
Hellfest is my heart!!!
And my embarrassment is tremendous, because I only have LOVE for people all over this skirmishing earth.
So my brother, it fucking rips my heart into further pieces to let you know, I don’t think I should do ANY Euro festivals this year.
So PLEASE I BEG YOU, give me this time to get my brain clear, and to come back (if you will have me back) next year my brother, I implore you!
Plus, the re-emergence of the knee injuries have been plaguing me of late as well, so I must address this too, through physical rehabilitation & rest.
Knowing my character, when I put my mind to something THIS DIRE, I come back 100-times better, and THAT’S what the Mighty Hellfest deserves!!!
My love for you & the rest of the gang that makes Hellfest THE TOPS, goes on and on and on…
Much love & respect-
Philip H. Anselmo (and the H. stands for HEALING) »
Sad news for the cancellation of down, and saddest news that Puscifer has been chosen to replace them…Well, it’s great that it allows FU MANCHU to headline on saturday
Hey guys! My name is Nick, I am new to this forum, this year will be my first Hellfest! Plenty of Wackens under the belt, but 2016 will be my first time in Frogland.
I have done a simulation of the running order 2016 based on the structure of last year’s running order, it’s pretty simple (the number of bands playing on each stage is exactly the same as last year).
As for the bands I’m mostly interested in, if the simulation were correct the following overlaps would take place:
FRIDAY:
Aura Noir and Earth both play at 19:45 approx.
SATURDAY:
SOIA, Archgoat and With the Dead all play at 17:50 approx.
Terrorizer and Dark Funeral play during the Twisted Sister show (starts at 22:55)
Korn, Napalm Death and Bad Religion all play at 01:00 approx.
SUNDAY:
Taake and Blind Guardian both play at 17:50 approx.
Megadeth and Insomnium both play at 18:45 approx.
Amon Amarth, Kadavar and Empyrium all play at 19:45 approx.
King Diamonad and Enslaved both play at 21:55 approx.
Katatonia and Deicide play during the Black Sabbath show (starts at 22:55)
Ghost and Paradise Lost both play at 01:00 approx.
All of this is under the strong assumption that the running order is exactly the same as last year and that the order of the bands per each stage listed on the 2016 bill is the actual running order in which they will appear (would make sense).
Hope this helps to jump-start your planning!

Yup !
Sorry for you dude but Temple and Valley doesn’t play in the same time to avoid sonic interferences
It’s always Altar/Valley/MS then Warzone/Temple/MS.
It’s due to the localisation of the stage.
Also, bands aren’t in the final order on the Artists page of the site.
Are you sure? I’ve never been to Hellfest, but I printed out last year’s running order and it seems like it was:
MS1/Altar/Warzone contemporary shows, then MS2/Temple/Valley contemporary shows.
In any case, as you rightly said we’ll have to see in what order they put the groups for each stage
I apologize, my bad: I used the 2014 running order, where the alternations between stages was different from 2015. In 2015 it was Temple/Warzone and Altar/Valley, the year before it was Temple/Valley and Altar/Warzone.
Back to the drawing board…
Maybe 2016 will be like 2014
(and them you wil llook for me and kick in my beer for the overload of work haha)
But I really doubt, I based my tought on the localisation of the stages (that changes in 2015)
