I was looking at timetables and shuttles and Argon Events and decided that driving would be better for me too. Will be packing 2-3 flasks of coffee for the road though! The thing is I have a friend from abroad coming so trying to plan where the best place to meet up is without going to Paris.

Earplugs help quite a bit. Of course you should also pitch your tent far from where people are going to be going past your tent a lot if and in a secluded area if possible (probably not, it’s pretty packed) if you want a quiet night.
Don’t really hear chantting but someone was blowing one of those bloody vuvuzela things on the Thursday night. Didn’t stop til about 5am.

Scorpions is the Saturday headliner and Trust the 2nd headliner. Judas Priest i the 2nd headliner of the Sunday., so the 2 headliner of the Friday will be announced.

Hello! Sorry for my pathetic english (but my french is still worse). Any nice alternative to Nantes for who wants a hotel or hostal? With shuttle service from / to festival enclosure. The availables hotels / hostals in Nantes are really expensives.
How much is expensive for you ? Threre’s quite a broad choice in Nantes (many possibilities around 200€ for 4 nights).
The most cheap hotel / hostal what I have found since this moment: around 100 euros night >.<
I will continue searching if you say that the´re more economic.
