@lookinglikelarry : Yes, like MetalWombat said, Hellfest is one of the rare festivals to allow nearly anything in the camping. And that make it a great festival.
Grills, firecamps, etc should be extricly forbidden and prosecuted. Imagine the combination of fire, wind, tents and drunk people in a crowded area as the camping will be… D A N G E R !!! Please pay attention to this, shit happens!!! Don´t want HF in the tabloids!!! How many people can you put in risk just to eat you f***ing steak???
i went to 6 or 7 festivals before and none had stoves and grills forbidden.
stoves and grills are THE essential items you need for camping and a festival kinda is camping aint it?
a stove is a huge different to a firecamp. of course an open fire should be forbidden thats the usual rules but stoves?
another thing is light. the easiest way to get some real light ist this
do they search all your bags even if you dont travel by car?
and is there maybe a place where you can buy stoves or does atleast anyone has better idea for light?
Any source of heat, or light rgenerated through combustion of G A S, are acceptable for campings… But this is a MetalFest, do u really think is safe for all us in a crowded area the use of this elements? If u need light use a torch please…
yea but glass brakes end people step into that…
most festival bann glass not only bottles but pretty much anything made of glass. totally understandable but a gas lamp? sersiously…
There’s no need to argue, you won’t change the rules. But experience has shown that there is no major risk of injuries due to glass bottles on the campsite. And I strongly disagree about gas bottles. Alcoohol + explosive objects are obviously a very bad idea.
And Hellfest is far from being the only festival where they are banned.
