Hey everyone! Got a question concerning the name+ e-ticket. Today I bought an e-ticket from Into The Void Record Store, and it is not personalized. When I wrote them an e-mail they answered that all their tickets say the same, meaning " records sentinel", but the ticket itself says in french to bring your identitfication card in case one needs to varify that the ticket is really yours. So how can I change the name? They say I mustn’t (and I obviously couldn’t), but now I am a little bit afraid. Someone here who could help me or has experience with this?
When I’ve sold tickets to someone else previous years, I would just contact Digitick (the company that sells the tickets) and they would change the name to the new person. The tickets are all e-tickets unless you buy them at the festival the year before, in which case it would need to be mailed out if sold. Hope this helps!
name on the e-ticket doesn’t matter. the ticket will be scanned so just ensure your ticket is safe until you can get your wrist band. but you can contact digiticket for name change if you want it.
With digitick, you can change the name on the ticket if you bought it with your account on this site. It’s a simple option and you can change the name until the day of the festival.
And id card could possibly asked but in 5 years I haven’t seen people asking it…
Not really a question but more of a comment: yesssss finally lockers! In the FAQ it says 2 things though (same as last year and we were in doubt if there were lockers…):
Can bikers leave their helmets in a secure place so as not to have to carry them all day ?
We will have lockers this year ! So you could rent one to let your helmet in a safe place !
Are there lockers available for valuable belongings ?
When is the running order likely to be announced - I know French speakers are also asking, but I want to know - NOW!!
Despite trying to contact Digitick directly, and searching on their site in order to get one of the names on my tickets changed (both of our tickets are in my name) I can’t seem to work this one out. Any tips appreciated!
my question is, if the running order that appears in some webs is official, how in hell can you place to play at the same time both meetings: Emperor / Vreid-Sognametal-Windir. Maybe you are mocking us, because is the only reason that I can understand for this
I suppose that usually the organization tries not to place similar bands (wich similar music style) to play at the same time, moreover if there is two special meetings, so I can’t understand this running order
those are the two bands for which I bought my ticket, and this really pissed me off
Hi Man
I understand you are very disapointed… But you may understand the running order is established with mainly taking into account the artist’s agenda. Life is cruel sometimes, but it is not due to Hellfest Organisation Team.
We all know that Hellfest will give us clashes. Problem is, Emperor/Vreid-Windir is not a normal clash (the only 2 « exclusive/special » shows, and same crowd, something HF always avoided before…), hence the big amount of shit and whinning it brought when it was revealed.
I thought 2012 was going to be my last year attending Hellfest. Lineup always incredible, but I was growing weary of the proportion the festival was taking (I think smaller/normal sized festivals are much more pleasant and fun) and all the preparation/travelling from afar that it demanded was a bit annoying. But honestly, when I saw Emperor and Vreid-Windir announced it was really the thing that made me change my mind, mainly them (other fantastic bands too, but that either already saw a few times/can see them elsewhere with no problem). If I knew of this clash, I would have probably gone to Bloodstock or Karmoygeddon (and it’s more interesting to test new fests too). Sorry for the disproportionate 2 cent rant, but I’m quite dissapointed.
EDIT: I just thought of something I need to know… After the concerts end on Sunday night, if I need to get to Nantes’ Airport, do I have to make a reservation ??? Or just pick up the first shuttle on the roundabout in direction of Nantes ???
Also, still about returning to Nantes airport after concerts: Do the shuttles still offer service on Mondays ? Or is it only throughout Sunday night (and up untill what hour)???
Last thing, if I arrive to Nantes on Wednesday would it be possible to go directly to clisson/fest-camping ?? I know it is suppose to be closed this year with more controle but it’d be better than hanging around Nantes for a day…
About shuttles to Nantes Airport, you have to book in advance (please look at FAQ section on the Festival website).
About your arrival on Wednesday, there will be more security instructions this year, so that I can not guarantee you can enter the campsite before the official opening time.
My partner and I have the 3 day ticket and were hoping to sleep in our Motorhome rather than camp.
I’ve read that lots of campers/motorhomes park up in the car parks and sleep there but on the Hellfest FAQ its says it is advised against due to ‹ security reasons ›
Anyone else had any experience of doing it this way, is it safe for us to do??
What they say is that you should not install a tent in the car park for security reasons (so as not to be driven over). But sleeping in your car is OK.
I am 17 and my friends and I (most of whom are 18+) will be attending this year’s Hellfest.
I looked at the FAQ and saw this:
from 12 to 17 : half-price pass that can only be purshased at the festival gates. Must be accompanied by a parent or an adult providing proof that the parents allow the kid to there - copy of passport compulsory)
My question is this: What counts as proof? Will a simple note suffice?
My husband and I have to get from Nantes to the festival on sunday the 22’s.
About the shuttles: is it possible to order a shuttle from Nantes on that day? And if the answer is yes, where from and how?
