Your questions about Hellfest!

hey organisers/moderators,
not sure if this the place for this but…sorry still posting it here…i have been coming to HF for 2 years…and am coming to HF15 for the third time…the shuttles/bus after the gig every night back to nantes are very poorly organised…gets chaotic and takes an hour to get on the bus/shuttle…i know this is not high on your priority list but please do something about this so that we can get back to nantes a little quicker and peacefully!
cheers \m/

Well, if you try to send a message to Douillard Ambulances, being polite and hopefull for a better organisation, explaining what you expect for this year, it could work

I don’t understand the Hellfest shuttles! If I arrive to Nantes with train, should I then book a shuttle to Nantes? Or should I take the train to Clisson and take a shuttle from there?
Do I need to book at all? How much does it cost? I’ll arrive at 18th and leave 22th.
Thanks!

If you can reach Clisson by train, you should take the train to Clisson and take the shuttle there. (€2 a ride, I think. No need to book it, it’ll be ready at the station.)
If you arrive very late in Nantes, and you cannot reach Clisson by train anymore, only then you should book a shuttle to Clisson-Hellfest!
The very same goes for the return. If you have an early flight, and there’s no train to get you to Nantes a that time, you book a shuttle, otherwise, a shuttle will be ready to bring you to Clisson station, where you take the train to Nantes again, where you can continue your trip to where you have to go to.

Edit Piaf zegt: SNCF (French Railways) give a reduction for all those going to Hellfest. Info on their site here: [url=http://www.ter-sncf.com/paysdelaloire]www.ter-sncf.com/paysdelaloire
Round trip Nantes-Clisson v.v. for €10.

Quark, great news you found on the site of SNCF! It’s so shitty that I don’t how you manage to find it!

Here is the direct link to that promo ticket:

If someone have some questions about it, do not hesitate to ask!

I had to look for it, I have to admit.

But fortunately I had the advantage of being able to understand French. It’s just that I was a bit lazy to find the correct link. I copied it from the Hellfest webpage. ]

oh we both know this won’t work…i have been writing for two years now but unfortunately shuttles and buses issues continue. I will only hope that come June 19th it’s better than last two years. Rest i believe HF15 is gonna be sick as hell :D:D:D:D

Do I have to book those ticets in advance, or can we buy them in Nantes?

And also, a question for everybody, I went to Hellfest once, in 2011, at that time I obvious survived in my old sleeping bag that is pretty thin actually. But now I’m just thinking it might get too cold, has the nights the last years been veeeery cold? :stuck_out_tongue:

As usual, cold at night and then you are woken up at 8 by heat. Don’t hesitate to sleep with a sweater at first if you are sensitive to cold like me ^^

You can buy your train tickets when arriving in Nantes, as you have to show a proof that you’re going to Hellfest (your ticket festival).

And for the nights, last year was ok, not that cold during the night. But I’m not a good reference, as I went to sleep around 5 a.m. each « night »… ]

What time did you wake up?

around 9 a.m.
I was still completely fucked when I went to the gates on the friday morming that I thought I’d puke at least a thousand times before it opened…And I was so high when I was under the Valley for Conan, sitting against a pole, that the power of the bass made my balls vibrating…So weird…

You, old pisshead

BOOKLET!

Will there be an engslish version of the booklet?

No, but all information are already available in English on the official website

Hello, this is my first Hellfest and me and my wife will be staying in Nantes. My query is how to return after each day from Clisson to Nantes. I have indicated that there are taxis, but they are expensive. There are more chances?

Thanks!

Hey coke,
This is my first HF too. I have a place in Nantes and I’m still debating if I should go camping or going back to Nantes after the last show each day. If anything, I’m willing to share a cab or shuttle Friday morning to the fest.

I see Lamb Of God and Five Finger Death Punch changed places on the schedule. Would be nice to put some info on the site if this happens.

The site shows parts of 2014, part of 2015.

Try the app, maybe that thing is up to date. (maar zeker ben ik niet)

The app still has Anthrax on it ;-p So much for being up to date.
App says FFDP at 19.40 just like the running order on the site used to say. But now on the running order FFDP changed spot with LOG.
