What is this with the chip in the bracelet that we’ll recieve on arrival? I have seen something about it in the French part!
Apparently it’s meant to ease the flow of the festival-goers and reduce waiting times (and, I imagine, fight against fare-dodgers)… There is not a lot of info about it yet: to be continued? 
No idea! I’ve just read it too and I don’t see the point nor the interest of it…yet.

Hello Guys… this will be mi 1rst Hellfest, I’ve been in Wacken twice, Brutal Assault, also twice and Summer Breeze. This year in HF will be a kind of « credit card » to make all the purchases in the festival. This mean that there wont be any other method to buy stuff there? System works with tokens or cash directly? Thank you in advance for your response!!

The « Cashless » system (the kind of credit card) will replace the tokens and works only for bar and « Hellfest Snack » (food made by the fest).
You will also need cash for the food, the merch and the other stands (i.e. located at Metal Corner).
Cashless is a payment system taht can be purchase and reload on the fest site or on the website: https://www.hellfest-cashless.fr/?l=en

ONLY, and ONLY for drinks (bars, bars à vin (Whine bars) and « Hellfest Snacks »)
You need all other points you need ordinairy €uros, like you’re used to at home (unless you’re from the UK, or Scandinavia)
But it is mandaroty if you want to have a drink.

Hi! I have a question regarding allowed camera equipment in the festival area. I have seen that DSLRs are allowed, but are there any restrictions? I have a Nikon d610 I would love to bring, and a few lenses. I don’t want to end up beeing forced to leave my stuff outside the festival (if there isn’t a band that won’t allow cameras), because I will be staying in the camping. Does anyone know what might be allowed/not allowed?
Simple equiptment, without separate lenses is always OK.
On the moment you start with different lenses, it’s getting « more dangerous », as it may seem to be (semi) professional.
There are however (if I read correctly) lockers for those things.

You’ll be parked with similar vehicules (previous years it was near the entrance of the city, when you come from Nantes), but try to arrive the earlier possible so that you won’t be too far from the site.
