And « For a few dollars more » , you can choose the « VIP option » : the EASY CAMP, in order to travel light and be more confortable (last year, approx 150€ for four nights)

Hi

I am coming to the festival this year with my boyfriend and have never been to Hellfest before. I was just wondering what the showers on the camp site are like and how long the ques tend to be every day ?

Thanks,

Lisa :8

A German proverb says: « Duschen ist kein Heavy Metal ». (Showering is no heavy metal)
Apart from that, I myself have no idea, but as I’m told, there aren’t that many, and queues tend to be long in peak hours (morning).
Baby wipers do the trick as well.

Agreed. You waste too much time waiting for a shower.
Baby wipers and dry shampoo were my best friends.
More over, you have water points on the site during the day, to refresh yourself.

I think we’ve already answered this question here. Search on this topic
Long story short, there are « private » showers with often a long queue (more than 1h) and public showers with no waiting. Take your swimsuit!

Just keep it in your (his) pants for a few nights. Showering is a nightmare on basically every festival. Or go in the middle of the night or during a headliner. Also, baby wipes or the special wipes/creams/‹ showers › for ladies…

oh ! oh !! wait ! Before coming in swinsuit maybe you should send us a pics of you in swinsuit. The we will be able to to direct you to « private » or « public » shower.
]

Is the swimsuit really useful ?.. ] ]

Sorry, but I have to disagree here. . The numerous times I’ve been to the Rock Hard Festival, I had a good shower and it wasn’t during a headliner show!
It all depends on the festival.

I just know german Festivals, where you are usually allowed to camp next to your car, which isn´t the case at Hellfest.

But I guess I will take a 20 Liter water Container with me and carry it from my car to my tent.
Should be quite helpfull in the morning
.
Or is there any rules prohibiting that?

Nothing prohibes you to cary this from your car but there is waterpoint on the site where you can filled it in case of need.

then I will carry it empty and fill it at the waterpoint, I guess I will Need a water bracelet anyway

no bracelte are requested for water. Except if you want to take a shower.

Thats true, depends on the festival. However, most festivals I’ve been to, and thats quite a lot, do not have sufficient capacity to take a shower in the morning without waiting >45mins, especially for the ladies.

Any of the Frenchies care to explain what this tweet meant? Is an announcement coming or are they asking us for patience?

« Bonjour, nous n’avons pas encore de date à vous donner pour l’annonce des groupes / place 1 jour ! Merci de patienter encore svp ! Merci »

They are asking for patience.
« Hi, we haven’t yet a date for the annoucment of the bands/ 1 day pass. »

Thanks Pok.

Hi all

Hopefully this hasn’t been answered before - i did have a skim read but there’s a lot to digest.

I have purchased the 3 day pass w/bus out of Bordeaux. It’s my first time at Hellfest so i’m not too familiar with the Monday de-camping process - how do i find out when the bus returns to Bordeaux? Hoping to snag their Easy Camp setup as i’m coming from Australia and don’t want to have to lug everything around.

Cheers.

Cheers mate,

as far as I know, there will be one exit, going to the bus station. So I reckon you might easily find it.

Thanks for your response

Oh yeah i figure it will be easy enough to find but my ticket doesn’t mention anything about when the bus goes BACK to Bordeaux - time, date etc etc. I’m looking at booking hotels and travel either side of the festival and just want to get an idea of when i can expect to be back in Bordeaux. Unless its a one way trip? I doubt that haha.

Do the buses generally leave immediately after the last set, in the middle of the night? Or the morning after? Etc etc. All i see ehre is info about getting there, not getting back:

Usually buses leave after the last set
