Your questions about Hellfest!

I found something through the official Hellfest site.

This enough?

Perfect! My saviour! Cheers heaps mate.

No worries!

Hey guys, can anybody remember the beer price last year in the festival area? i read about 2,50€ for 25cl anywhere :o !?!
How much is wine?

just for information: Municipal Waste confirmed for hellfest on their facebook page.

Beer was €2.50 for 0.28 liters (weird size)!

And that’s the 2nd one that I know of, that autoconfirmed its performance. Sunn O))) did the same.

Most People come on thursday right?

Or do Frenchmen usually arrive at friday, don´t know whats common at French Festivals

Right.
If you arrive on friday, very hard to find a camp place

Hey there,

we’re looking forward to our first time at Hellfest, but there are a few open questions. Sorry if they have been already answered, but I’m too lazy to read 37 pages…

  • At what time on thursday can we get on the campingsite?

  • After that, what’s the best time to arrive if you want a good spot?

  • Does the person who bought the tickets have to be with us, because the name is printed on the tickets?

  • How far is the infield from the campingsite?

Think that’s all for now…

Thanks in advance.

Greetings from Germany

Se ya in Hell(fest)

Hi Freki,

  • They usually say 4 p.m. but last year it was 2 p.m.

  • The best time is before they open the gates, to be able to get in with the first to enter and chose your spot, after that it gets filled very fast!

  • No, the name on the tickets does not really matter as they will not ask for your IDs.

  • I’d say between 1 and 2 km depending what camp (color-coded) you were able to plant your tent in!

Great! Thanks so far.

There just raises another question about how long before the gates open it would be best to be there?
For example on my last Summer Breeze officially the gates opened at 10am, but due to the many cars arriving much earlier they opened already at 6am. And to get a good spot you’ve to be there at 3am latest.
Is kind of this rush also on Hellfest or will most of the people arrive in time at 2pm?

Hehe… according to this, what’s the best colour?
And will there be a map online someday?

One can never tell.
Apparently last year (2015) it was announced to open at 17.00, but apparently they opened up before 5. So… Kann ich nicht sagen.

No map of the Camping. [url=http://nsa34.casimages.com/img/2013/05/23/130523091715885903.jpg]I found this but it’s old. New colors appears but are more far that the mention ones.

Regarding the « best colours » it’s depends of what you expect.
White is the nearest of the MetalCorner (where the fest beginning)
Red is a « party time all night long » camp
Green is more « quiet but not dead »
Yellow was supposed to be the quiet one with familly and stuff.
There is also Blue, Orange and Purple, but they are to far for me.

You can update your map Pok

It was last year (2015). You can see campings, parkings, stages, and my mother’s car.

map without camp colors doesn’t help her ;). You can just see how big it’s.

looking at this plan I wonder how they are going to enlarge the Warzone

That’s why I said you can update your map by taking this new photo and adding legends :stuck_out_tongue:
I will do it when I have time but I don’t know where the new colors are.

That’s why w eneed a map of the camp with the new colors

Ok, cool!
White seems good to me… hehe…

Did I see that right, that there are no « real » parking areas, but they all stand along the streets?

No, if you arrive very soon, you can park on the street near the Fest.
When it’s over, the street is closed than you have to park on parking areas.

I think this is the map of the camping but not sure for Purple, Blue and Orange (but who cares, others are great ] )

And the parkings
[url=http://www.hostingpics.net/viewer.php?id=491335parkinghellfest.png]

In red I think this is the camper van parking.
In blue, P1, P2, P3, don’t know if there is others ?

Well that give you an idea

(tell me if I made a mistake)

Parking P3 (P3 bis ?..) is further (+ 800m)
