Your questions about Hellfest!

Hi!

I will come back this year (there are rumors of Marilyn Manson… ) and I want to know how much changed the festival since 2015. Any info important?
Especially, I want to know about to enter with drinks and food (water yes but no alcohol?), showers and if the card of « Cashless » that I have from 2015 will work this year or not.

It’s dead for your cashless 2015.
No problem for food, drinks only if in non closed bottle.
Showers available in camp site, you’ll have to take a water pass (6€ in 2017 for all the fest).

Thanks!

And… .Is it still accessible to go to the supermarket from the red zone of the camping? 8o

I’m colourblind (actually, I really am!), but I did it 2 years ago, and I don’t see any problem getting there from the « guitar » roundabout. So, yes, it is still possible to go to the Leclerc (supermarket).

Mmmm in 2015 I crossed a bridge to go to the supermarket, which is near a caravan park. From the roundabout it is further away from the red zone :stuck_out_tongue:

Found this http://festileaks.com/2017/10/poster-spotting-o-a-foo-fighters-op-circulerend-hellfest-2018-affiche/
Not quite sure if it’s for real or not??

I’m going for fake

I confirm that is a fake one.
In fact, this poster was made by someone from this forum :stuck_out_tongue:

Always possible this year (and since 2012 actually). No reason for changes.

Hi!
I wonder where’s the exact location of the shuttle stop from Clisson SNCF Gare to Hellfest? Anyone can show me on the map?
Thanks!

I am bad with maps, but it’s near the guitar roundabout. Can’t miss it!

This might help (taken from another thread so I can’t take the credit  )

Living near Clisson, I created a map to share the location of useful places for a festival-goer around Hellfest. The map can be found at the following address:

[Hellfest : lieux utiles - uMap]

The contents of the map
Hello,
As I live near Clisson and I know a little about the surroundings I decided to create an openstreetmap map to share the places useful to other festival-goers. The map can be found at the following address:
Hellfest: useful places
So I listed various useful services for a festival-goer on different layers:
Festival
The festival
The official campsite
The parking of the festival
Food
Supermarkets
Bakeries
Wine merchants
utilities
Service stations
ATMs
Public toilets
The gendarmerie
The points of sale of cigarettes
Health
Pharmacies
Para-pharmacies
Veterinarians
Restoration
The bars
The restaurants
Snacks
Traffic
The train station
The theoretical deposit point of the buses
Roads blocked
The blocked points
One way roads
Roads with reserved passage
Culture
Some monuments of the city of Clisson
Notable monuments of metal culture

For the moment, the referenced places are on the commune of the urban area of Clisson namely: Clisson, Gorges, Gétigné and Cugand. According to the interest of the people and the success of the map, I could add some communes around.

If you zoom in on the Map you can see the roundabout which will have the Guitar on where the shuttle buses drop off is right by the entrance to the festival, hope this helps.

Yes, I know the destination is the Guitar. But where’s the exact location of the departing point?

Thank you, but I can’t find the departing point of the shuttle bus.

Hey guys,

It’s first time to hellfest and Im coming all the way from Egypt.
I want to know if the bus hours and pick up location were determined or not yet. I’ll arrive to Paris on the 21st of June at around 12pm, so I can’t buy the tickets of the bus as long as I don’t know the hours.

And if the bus is not an option now, What’s the best way to get from Paris to hellfest?

Thanks everyone

@Samelkholy:
The best way is by train:

You can check directly your train from Paris to Clisson.

Thanks for your reply.

When do u think it’s the best time to buy tickets? I mean does it make a difference if I book it in advance? will I have a better rate?

Also I wonder if we can share a ride with someone, where can I post that?
We can split the cost of the journey.

Thanks again

You can generally only get train tickets in france 3 months before departure and the least expensive train tickets sell out fast, so i would set yourself a reminder to check for tickets around that time. and yes you can get ride shares via the forum (as well on sites such as blablacar, but it’s a bit too early for that.anyway Have fun! Hellfest is simply the best festival in the world in my opinion

@Samelkholy:
As said by vegan26, you can get train tickets with good price at least 3 months before departure.

For car sharing, you can post in the dedicated topic (but I think not now as it’s too son):

Usually good price,a good way to meet people and also to talk about Hellfest
