Your questions about Hellfest!

Also consider blablacar’s website for car sharing  (and Google translation to know what it’s offering and asking you for as it seems to be in French only!)

Thanks everyone, that was really helpful…cheers \m/

That depends on what extention you use at the end! I typed blablacar.com, and came out at blablacar.nl. (because my computer is set in Dutch) So… blablacar is available in multpile lnaguages. (UK English, French, Dutch, German, depending on you country)

Is it ever possible to buy any passes for any of the different VIP area’s?

Hello,

First time this year, have a bunch of questions but will just start with a few…I have been to a lot of USA music festivals and in Canada, but my first European festival…

I will be staying in Mouzillon, got a hotel room. Festival is about 5km from my place, do they have shuttle/bus from Mouzillon to Hellfest?

Does Hellfest allow re-entry? In other words each day when you get in are you there for the duration or are you allowed to come and go , in and out of festival.

Do they allow you to bring in sealed water bottles?

I have seen a VIP area but have not seen more details about it, costs…etc…has anyone ever done the VIP experience?

thanks !

@desslok40:
Yes, shuttles can be taken, you will the information on the new website for 2018. Shuttles by Taxi Douillard, you will have their contact.
Yes, you can re-entry many times, but you will have to comme in by the Cathedral and wait for the control.
No, no sealed bottles.

@bronson and desslok40:
VIP area is a cool one, you can win tickets in contest, or bi invited… but no tickets sold directly.

Someone knows when will the one day tickets go out?

Only when bands per day will be known, probably in March/April so you have to wait.

Ok. So much thanks!

2018 will be my first Hellfest. I’m coming all the way from South Africa and I obviously need to start planning far in advance. I want to take the Hellfest bus from Paris. I found the bus tickets on Digitick website (one of the most useless websites I’ve ever encountered), but the website provides ZERO information about the actual trip. I don’t want to spend money on the ticket without more information. Hopefully someone here can provide some help:

  1. Where does the bus from Paris depart from? I would guess either from Gare du Nord (or another big station) or maybe from the airport?
  2. Roughly how long is the trip?
  3. Roughly what time does the bus leave from Paris to the festival/leave from Hellfest to return to Paris? The reason I need to know is that it will have an influence on how I book accomodation etc before and after the festival.

How’s it going all, I’m from the United States, and have some questions that i am having a hard time finding answers to due to not speaking any French at all.

How does the camping work at this Festival? do i need to buy a ticket somewhere or ?
How difficult is it to secure transport from Paris to Clisson, what is the best and cheapest method?
Is there any laws that i should be aware of before making this trip?
I’m planning on making this a 2 week trip, anyone want to recomend any before or after HELLFEST?
Any and all info is appreciated, and if this has been asked before i apologize. I really didn’t want to read 53 pages…

Trying to answer the last questions above.
1)Standard camping is included in your 3 days pass.
2) transport from Paris: i believe there is a bus from Paris and they should sell tickets for it separately (unless you bought the packahe ticket+bus). Cant find the link though. Alternatively : train from Paris to Nantes + TER Nantes to Clisson or blabla car (car sharing app)
3) in terms of law : nothing much different than in most US states I suppose (well… don’t carry/bring a gun obviously!)
4) plenty of nice things to visit around Nantes and Clisson which is itself a nice small medieval town. Depends what you like and how you plan to travel so difficult to answer.

Thanks for the quick reply, I actually failed to get a 3 day pass as i just discovered this festival yesterday… So i was looking at purchasing 3 single day passes. So i was wondering if i was just out of luck at this point.

Hi eveyone,

Im wondering if I get to take the train from CDG airport to Hellfest, shall I take it to Clisson or Nantes? and which station shall I take the train to (I mean the station name whether it’s in Clisson or Nantes)?

Thanx

The nearest train station is Clisson where you can go to the fest by walk.

Thanx

Any idea on where we can store our luggage at the festival? We are going to camp and after the festival we are heading to Paris, so we will need a place to store our big luggages?

Hi. Who sells music and merch?

What?

Music and merch dedicated to Metal: Extrem Market area.
Hellfest merch and band merch per day: dedicated shops on site.

Hi ladies and gents! :8

First Hellfest for me, coming from Georgia (country, not U.S. state) with some friends…

We have a few questions:

  1. Is there any alternative way of charging phones/power banks other than the Lock&Rock lockers? And if not, can we charge more than 1 device in a « S+Charge » at a time?

  2. I hear for showers we need to purchase a water bracelet, any ideas how much that costs per person? And will there be just water or any extra package for soap etc available?

  3. Can we bring in water bottles from outside or are there any fountains inside the festival area or at camping site?

i think this is all for now, thank you for your time and answers! \m/
