Hi,
it’s my first time this year and I’m wondering if there’s something like a foreigner / english speaking camping area, nothing offical, but a area on the campsite where traditionaly many people from all over the world stay. I heard that on the Wacken campsite is a place like this… so maybe also at Hellfest
My french is extremly bad (after 5 years of french lessons in school I can barely order a beer and say who I am  ) and I’m a bit worried that I’m surrounded by french people only and I know that most of them speak english as bad as I’m speaking french…

I found a map of the campsite [url=http://www.hellfest-forum.fr/viewtopic.php?id=19153&p=2]here in the forum and would be pleased if someone who’s a bit more experienced could tell me something about the different camping areas. Are there any differents? Are some of the areas famous for something like incredible parties or whatever ] ?

Greetings

Hi guys, I’m sorry i someone already asked this question about the cashless card…
I have a card from the 2016 edition, is it still valid or do I have to buy a new one?
If so, and since I live abroad, do you recommend on buying there or bying online (I’m afraid I don’t get it on time).
Cheers!

Your card from 2016 is not available.
The system is a new one for 2018, cashless is integrated to the strap.

Is no longer valid, Mr McSeb.

could I buy a live ticket ?

  1. 8.(

A WHAT???

Sorry, I honestly don’t understand this question.
If you mean, could you buy a ticket for the 2019 edition during the 2018 festival, I’d say yes. But that’s as far as I will go.

Or if you meant « can I buy a ticket for this year’s edition », as the event is sold-out I’d say your only safe chance (secure transactions) is on zepass.com!

yes, i mean if i could buy the ticket at clisson when the festival has been started, not the pre sale ticket on this website…

and how much the ticket will sold, three day pass ticket or single day ticket? thank you very much

That’s much clearer!

If I’m correct, only the 3-days tickets will go on sale. And last year, they were sold for €158.
Can’t really remember, but I think presale starts Thursday or Friday. And it goes relatively quickly. So be there on time!

This is btw the 2019 edition we’re talking about. 2018 is sold out.

Presale starts usually on Thursday and it’s sold out in the evening or early friday.

Haven’t heard of that kind of special area in the campsite but you can look for some flags raised above tents, there’s usually lot of people bringing some flags.
Being french myself I can asure you that you will find people to discuss, speaking a rather good English, our reputation is not very good on welcoming tourists and english speaking but at least in the Hellfest you will find friendly and welcoming people. Sometimes you will be surrounded by more foreigners than french, so don’t worry.
If you know this one word you are saved : Apéroooooooooo (let’s have a drink)

And why would you want to be segregated from the rest of the people? Don’t! Get to know your temporary neighbours, you (both) might profit from it

Hey, I just signed up for Cashless account and loaded 30 Euros as a test. It took 1 EUR as fee and remaining balance shows 29 but in USD instead of Euro.
Any ideas why?
Here’s screenshot - https://prnt.sc/jg8pty

Update: I think the reason it showed in USD is because I had the page translated in English so it changed Eur sign to USD sign.
Seeing the page in French shows the Euro balance now.

never mind

Question about the tickets:
In zepass you can get tickets(rarely, but you can) where there are many options:
HELLFEST 2018 - PASS 3 JOURS + CAMPING + BUS
AND
HELLFEST 2018 - PASS 3 JOURS

If I only buy the « HELLFEST 2018 - PASS 3 JOURS » can I still go to the camping area with my own tent?

Thank you for the answers.

3 days pass is all inclusive. And you can take your own tent with you as well. Better: the Easy Camp, which you are referring to, is sold out, so you have to bring your own tent!

Edit Piaf zegt: the bus option is the ride from city name on the ticket to Hellfest and back. The normal 3 days pass is without a bus ride. But ALWAYS with camping.

What’s up guys? I read that you need to buy a water bracelet in order to get access to water and showers in the campsite. How can I buy a water bracelet and how much do they cost?
