Water is free (and there are many taps), showers aren’t. You can buy the water bracelet at the metal corner, in the H2O zone. It costs 6 € for as many showers as you want during the fest.

This is my first Hellfest and I was wondering:

I will be arriving in Clisson at around 12:30 on Thursday. Will I be able to get a decent campsite (close enough to the infield that I don’t have to trek 5000km each day)

How do the shuttles from Clisson station to the festival work? Are they regular and convenient or should I just walk?

The E Leclerc supermarket… Is it close enough to the festival that it’s possible to visit it daily?

Is it possible to buy ice at the Leclerc (or anywhere else)?

Is it possible to buy camping equipment in Clisson? I’m bringing a tent and sleeping bag with me from South Africa, but I might need to buy a couple of other items…

I’m not really sure, but I reckon you’ll have a decent spot.

Shuttles run decently. There are many ready when the train ftom Nantes arrive in Clisson. They are small vans, not those big buses at e.g. Wacken. But I always had a quick ride.

10-15min walk, depending on your camping spot. Could be a bit longer.

1- The site opens between 2 pm and 4 pm so you just have to be in front at 2 pm with a few thousand friends and you’ll get a descent campsite on the Red or the White.
3- 10 mn if you’re on the Red Camp.
5- There will be a Decatlon Stand on the Hellsquare. You could find what you need there.
4: Yes they have Ice, plenty of it.
5: Leclerc will have everything you need, during the festival they have tons of stuff they normally would not have like Camping Chairs, and so on because they know that they will sell thousands of them.
I know we haven’t even done the 2018 fest yet, but does anyone know what the dates are for 2019?
Probably around the same weekend. But if you buy tickets for next year’s edition, you’ll find out.

It closes at midnight though.
So that means that if i arrive after 12 I won’t be able to enter the festival till the next day, or only the kartent closes at 12?
You can enter, but it won’t be possible to change your ticket for a wristband. I don’t know about kartent though.
My guess is, it should be possible with your tickets.
