I already send an email to billetterie@hellfest.fr about the Name Change, like 3 times from a weeks ago, but they still didn’t answer my question. What should I do ?
please let us know what we need to do for this Name Change problem. I think there’s a lot of guys out there who are also looking for the answer about this one. thanks a lot once again Mac for your help!
2 bands in the Valley are yet to be announced (although heavily rumoured to be sleep and high on fire )
Plus whoever replace a band that cancel their visit
Mac Seb was sarcastic because he doesn’t like Ghost, I assume he thinks this band is not metal enough ;). It was a joke but on this forum you have basically three teams, those who like Ghost, those who don’t and those who don’t care, haha.
To answer your question, I don’t think Ghost is likely to play this year at Hellfest. Mainstages are full, and even if a band has to cancel his visit I don’t see how Hellfest would be able to pay for Ghost and book them at the last minute ;). I might be wrong, though.
Thank you! I didn’t knew about that but why all that for Ghost? I mean it’s the only band that performed at Hellfest over those years and wasn’t on all people taste? And about Mac Seb thinking that Ghost is not metal enough someone should do some research regarding metal but after all people are free to like what they want.
Well Ghost isn’t the only band aimed by this kind of argument (Linkin Park, Steel Panther, Babymetal or Amaranthe, for example), but being « for or against Ghost » has become a running joke on this forum, I don’t really know how and why. Maybe because it is one of the last bands that has been rising very fast into mainstream metal these past few years.
Talking about music, many people (not only on this forum) find that Ghost is not heavy enough, more 70’s rock than metal, with pop-like choruses. That’s not so wrong, did you listen to their last album? Not really as heavy as Meliora, isn’t it? There is a strong debate about this band, you can’t deny
Thank you for your answers you are very kind. Can’t disagree with you regarding the difference between the albums but personally i enjoy all of them even tho there are some songs on the last album that can be from Meliora era witch makes Prequelle a not so 70’s album but only my opinion.
Sarcasm is good sometimes and i tought that is what it was but still i wanted to reply. Oh and i really like Rammstein because that’s how i learned german in a romanian school (my 60 years german teacher would bring a cd for us to listen) and it brings back good memories.
Hellfest already reply my email about the NAME CHANGE on tickets. As you can see, we don’t need to change the name on the tickets, they only scanned. The barcode is the most important things. Maybe some people also still looking for an answer of this one.
btw, just an intermezzo between this Ghost and Rammstein topics
I will also travel to Rotterdam on 25th June, right after Hellfest, just to see Fuckin’ Rammstein! Du hast!
Ah, now I see the meaning of team anti-ghost hashtag in your sig so, maybe I should add the same
Not like I listen the heaviest ever bands, but… I love doom genres with all my love and when someone says Ghost are playing doom, it hurts so, I kinda blame Ghost fans for that. And moreover, I have personal hate to Tobias one of the few non-grata people in metal for me.
Does anyone know what the situation is with disabled parking? Unfortunately I have become more disabled since last year and can’t do what I’ve done the last few years (stay in Nantes and travel I’m and out by train/bus) as I can’t walk long distances now. The parking always looks a nightmare and I’m worried I could get blocked in and unable to drive back to the hotel.
Is there a separate disabled car park that I’ll be able to enter and exit fairly easily? If not then I’m afraid that my Hellfest days may be over.
I’ve tried looking on the main site but I don’t speak French and google translate isn’t very good!
Also do they do special carer tickets as I need to have someone with me. At Download (in UK) I can get a free ticket for my carer.
