Your questions about Hellfest!

It seems that you win a beer!

We drink two my friend, one on each other’s pocket

Hey first time 2019 heard Hellfest is great and the Lineup is gigantic…
Going to Wacken since 2005 every year (+smaller festivals/concerts) except first time intentionally missed it 2018 since they are not loud enough and always the same Bands and not good enough Lineup. So migrating to Graspop and Hellfest for big ones until Wacken improves again.

Few questions:

How long to walk from car to campsite?

Heard campsite is quite cramped should I leave my « Pavillion/Gazebo/tent roof thing » in car/home?

I drink alot (even for a stereotypical German) at festivals especially in hot french summer and beer is quite expensive for my amount so I am looking to supplement bought drinks with stuff brought in from campsite. Heard there was some pitcher thing in earlier years you can bring inside does that still exist and how big is it?

Will peoples check your baggage on the way from car/leclerc to campsite? If so what is not allowed on campsite? Don’t have illegal stuff and know no fire/bbq allowed just asking.

PopoMetal

You’re free to park even right in front of the entrance, but it can end up like… [url=https://pp.userapi.com/c830709/v830709572/12d04c/WTipo2jGxNs.jpg]this.

Campsite is not really cramped, it’s huge, so if you want, you’re free to get some pavillion or tent roof. This year I had guys from Spain near me, they had like five tents and they made a roof between them, they were sharing it with others hanging out in camping willing to sit. So, I mean, you could take every camping staff you want, but be some kind of respectful with amount of place you’re going to have

Hellfest is separated into two parts. First one is camping. Here you’re allowed to bring anything you want except illegal staff and fire/generators/etc. People are bringing carts of beer inside, so there’s no problem, nothing’s checked. I’ve been getting like 1 whiskey bottle every day, I’m terrible drinker too  And the other one is festival zone. Here you’re able to bring only first need staff - phone, hoodie, some cream agains sun, first aid pack. But no liquids. Instead, there are few bars in festival zone, and also beer vendors are crossing everywhere.

Tag Herr Popo! Wir kennen uns. Ja, von da.
Having said this, your answers.

Depends. On where you can park actually. But I did go by train both times, so I cannot really tell you.

Better. There are some here and there, but the campside is really packed! Every little inch of free space is used to put a tent.

Never seen one. Just the goblets/mugs, in either 28cl or 50cl. Which you can refill on the camping of course. No one bothers. (but it can be crowdy at the cathedral, so if you do not worry about 25cts being lost, bring a can for the waiting line)

Never had that. Neither from the guitar roundabout (rond-point de guitare), nor from my return from Leclerc.
You might notice French bringing along glass bottles though. Don’t but if you have to insist…

Thanks alot for the infos!

Pitcher might be this https://www.headbangerslifestyle.com/live/1478/hellfest-open-air-2018-clisson-france-222324-june-2018

if thats true and I can carry it back inside that solves all of my problems. And 15€ for 1.5l is stilll acceptable at the limit to buy a few read somewhere else its 14 for a litre that would be too much. 1.5l is good size to buy before going to a band.

Beautiful

Yeah the pitchers are 1,5 liters. They are like measuring cups you use in the kitchen  If you fill em up on the camping site with your own beer and then go the festival site, that’s ok. I do that as well
Don’t go fill it up with some blue cocktail drink though, that’s suspicious :stuck_out_tongue:

Hey guys, does anybody know when the easycamp stuff will start?

And to all the international guys here.

will you already arrive on wednesday?

Normally in April.
But Easycamp access will be only available on thursday 20/06

Coming from UK and likely to arrive 12noon-ish Thursday depending on whether we take overnight ferry to Cherbourg or early hours tunnel to Calais.

Hello, first time going to Hellfest. Actually, I’m trying to. Cause I couldn’t get 3 day pass ticket.
So, my question is… How much does 1 day ticket cost based on the price of previous years?
Thank you and cheers from Brazil!

Hi! Last year, 1 day tickets cost 98 €. But the price could be a little bit higher this time because 3 days pass tickets were more expensive (+10€) :expressionless:

Thank you for the answer. That’s a lot of money, since I’m intending to buy all 3 days.

Anyway, flight tickets are already bought and it is a long way to go. So, I have to get these Hellfest tickets.

At least, Resurrection tickets are already in hand

Hello! Not sure if this is the right thread but… if you were to give some advice, how can we put our bands to play at Hellfest? Is it and open application process? Is it all about PR? Thanks on advance.

¡Hola!

At the moment, it’s too late for Hellfest 2019 and too early for Helfest 2020.

According to an interview* about how the lineup is prepared, they said that they start receiving booking requests and looking for interesting bands around July (once the year’s edition is over) and actual booking takes place around September.

If I were you, I’d use the « contact us » link in the bottom of the main site to get an official response with the exact dates and the correct communication channel to pass through. Might take them a while to reply, especially at the current holiday period, so it’s best to be patient.

Good luck!

Hi guys, I miss the chance to get Hellfest 3 day pass tickets. So i buy it from my friend Martin.

He said I need to contact Hellfest to change the name on tickets, from Martin to my name, Yulio). Is that correct ? or anyone have any info about this ? how bout last year ? did they check the name or just scan the barcode ?

Merci

That’s correct.
You need to change the name, it’s mandatory for HF 2019.
You can directly contact billetterie@hellfest.fr

last year they didn´t check the Name, just scannned the Barcode.

Of Course nobody knows what they will do next year.

I would bet they won´t check because it would take forever for everybody to get out their passports and so on.

I remind you on Wacken 2014, where all tickets were personalised, and… checked with ID! (OK, is Deutschland)
