I very much doubt they will ID you at the arena bars, though of course I don’t know for sure. There’s such an amount of people getting beer all the time that I’m pretty sure they don’t stop to look out for papers. But I could be wrong. You could always ask someone to get a drink for you if they do ask for ID.
Wikipedia on France:
« Buying alcohol is illegal below the age of 18. Drinking alcohol is not forbidden to minors in private, but supplying them with alcohol that results in intoxication is. »
Beer is tolerate for 16 years old people.
Never seen someone ask for ID in the fest !
Enjoy
Yay! That’s handy. I do have people that could buy me drinks, I just don’t wanna be pestering them the whole time
How’s the weather in Nantes in Clisson right now? I’ve been debating on whether it will be necessary to take a sweater, boots, and umbrella with me.
This week should be a rainy one (all over France).
Well on the weather forecasts for over 14 days the weather looks fine for Hellfest, this week rain en with hellfest its clearing up!! Thats the forecast for now.
Oh really? It’s raining right now in Poland too, where I’ll be attending Sonisphere I hope the rain clears up for all of Europe the next few weeks. I’ll keep checking the forcasts.
We’ll go by plane, and will not bring anything but a backpack with a few clothes. I guess Leclerc have stuff like boots, ponchos, etc, if the weather should be bad?
Yeah, I’ll also be travelling by plane but I’m trying to keep my luggage at a minimum. I’m hoping it’s nice and sunny the whole time so I can do well with just short sleeve shirts.
I will be returning to hellfest for the second time and was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to use last years left over beer tokens?
@darkangelwingz : you will find boots (dunno whether there will be enough of them) but I’m not sure about ponchos. There’s a sport shop nearby that might sell some though.
DaveRabies : unfortunately not. They were pink in '08, yellow in '09, dunno about '10.
They are indeed.
The want to forbid entrance to people under 18 ans and know the exact lyrics of the songs which are going to be played other the week…
Please, don’t laugh…
tell them tom araya is a good catholic boy
They had better not succeed
Why do they even want to see the lyrics? Catholics ruin everything!
They on’t : everyone will be laughing at them.
They want to see the lyrics so as to check whether there would be some offensive contents !
Offensive content? Metal Lyrics? Never.
Just show them some Stryper lyrics!!
They seem to be very fond of one particular Marduk track as they always mention it, though.
And they call the band ‹ Marduck › !
A similar thing happened at the Ronnie James Dio memorial a couple of weeks ago. A Baptist church was threating that they were going to protest at the memorial because Dio was a satanist and a « fag ». Normally, that church protests at funerals of soldiers and a bunch of them show up. Only 3 showed up this time though, I think they got scared haha!
Ask them if you have to be 18 to be a Catholic or go to church ?
Also ask for the next 45 hours worth of lyrics from Hymns that will be sung in their church.
I doubt that i would agree with any of them…except maybe « its hard to dance with the devil on your back »
I dance like a twat, and now i know why
