Hellfest 2007: Fuckin pissin it down and flooded campsite. This is where the local super market came in handy- Me and my partner at the time managed to buy wellies in our sizes for such a cheap price =)
Hellfest 2008: I was burnt so bad! Theres like a row of 5 tree’s and evvvery single person at the arena were hiding under the shade of these tree’s haha =D They hired fire engines to cover everyone with water which was great at the time- but stupid afterwards when the sun just burnt your head worse >_<
Ive had both extremes at Hellfest and Ill be taking both types. The weather forecast was NEVER right!! Keep that in mind.
yeah, 2008 and 2009 were both the same when it comes to weather, but I dunno: I can somehow bare the heat, but I just hate rain and open air shows. So, if I have to choose between two evils, my choice is everything except rain and cold weather.
but I couldn’t agree more (and even wrote it several times before) that shade is a huuuge problem at Hellfest, so hope they figured out something this year

Can you take a beer that you have bought in the arena to the campsite then back into the arena?
I only went in 2009 and i didn’t thought it was hot last year, warm but bearable ( the only thing is that the sun was very bright at times, but that is what you get in France, you need to use sunscreen for sure )… I think it was like 22/23 degrees during the daytime and when the sun went down it even became a bit cold especially at the campsite brrr. 
I think the weather from last year was perfect for a festival, not too hot, no rain, some sunshine, some clouds.

Do we know if there are definitely going to be ATMs at the festival? and where? I’m taking money with me, but I get paid weekly, so would like to take some more cash out while I’m there.

Will I be able to take a plastic bottle of water into festival site? Probably empty for filling up at the taps. It didn’t seem to be a problem last year.
I think they had some rule like the bottle needing to be opened without a cap. So just shove the cap down your pants for a few seconds or something. But yeah as far as I know plastic bottles are fine.
No caps and no alcohol in the bottle !
Does anyone know if there is much food available for vegetarians at the festival site?
The situation has never been that great for vegetarians so far at Hellfest.
I know the staff has been working on it this year since there is a strong demand : it’s supposed to be better this year. You can still go to the supermarket nearby if this is not good enough for you (the supermarket is closed on Sunday though).
By now it looks like we can expect some rain on friday only, the other days seem ok on serveral websites… Let’s hope so.
