Your questions about Hellfest!

I’m so fucking excited about this, my first festival ever! Just got given £20 by a customer just so he could buy me drinks while I’m there! Awesome!

They close really late on thursday, between 0h and 1h friday last year !
If somebody arrives after this hour, they can get in the camping area but need to come back to get their pass on the morning before going on the festival area !

Hellfest 2011 with Coroner? OMG that would be so amazing if that is true.

Only a few hours to go people til that journey starts!!!

\m/

Bottom line: will there be lockers or not?

no lockers, but have a tent for you now!

Last minute question: will we be able to get some food upon arrival on thursday evening or do we need to bring our own?

Short walk to McDonalds - or to the Metal Corner where there will be food. What ya buyin’ me?

Find me and I’ll buy you a beer

That’s my kinda food !

Any idea how I remove the wristband without cutting it? Or do I have to cut it? :frowning:

keep pulling the metal clip it will eventually come off. we saw some american guy who had to leave early on sunday take it off in the manner

After the cheaper priced tickets stop being sold on November 28th, when is the next time I will be able to but tickets at any price?
Thanks

Just after the second announcement, at the end of november

Got airfares and tickets in place

Whats the festival like in terms of alcohol?

Is it like Wacken were the areas where bands are playing is licenced or can you bring your own alcohol?

Furthermore, whats the closest town and whats accomodation like? Is it Clisson/Nantes

I was thinking of hiring van for the festival to sleep in for the whole time or is there accomodation within walking distance?

You can arrive on Thursday yes

@Psycroptic fan : You can take as much alcohol as you wish to the campsite but won’t be allowed to get in the concert arena with it. There’s a bar (called Metal Corner) in the campsite zone and many of different bars (beer, cider, wine) in the concert arena.
If you want to avoid staying at the campsite, you won’t find much choice and availability in Clisson. Nantes has a very broad choice in terms of accomodation. You can sleep in a van if you wish to obviously : car parks are close to the venue.
Best in to arrive on Thursday, that’s fore sure. The campsite opens at noon on Thursday.

Can I just ask - does the early bird price that’s currently on offer include camping?? We will be coming from Manchester England. In people’s experience is flying or ferry the best option?? Sorry for all the questions never been to this festival before. Thanks

Yeah don’t worry camping is included in the price  . I don’t know which option is the best it’s still early to know, depends on the price really. Just look up both options and see what is best for you.

@Bambi : welcome! You won’t be charged for parking or camping at Hellfest (how sweet!).
Popo in from time to time here : Brits are not posting much at the moment but I’m sure you’ll find many valuable information from them in the next few weeks.

Cheers info muchly appreciated

Im sure I will have some more questions in the near future or leading up to the event.
