Your questions about Hellfest!

No worries. This is what the FAQ says:
PEOPLE WITH A HANDICAP

  • Are there special facilities (dedicated car parks, campsite spot, toilets, showers, concert spots) for people with a handicap?
Yes ! And this year a special team will be there to help you.

Note that there is no special arrangements in the Terrorizer and Rock Hard tents though.

You can still send an e-mail at info@hellfest.fr in the weeks to come if you have precise questions (and contact me if you don’t have an answer).

I purchased my tickets via Digitick and I will be backpacking for over a month before the festival, will my ticket still be valid if I laminate it so it doesn’t get damaged in my travels?

Any idea when the special guests will be announced?

Very soon. Can’t tell you more than that.

What happened with 1349? :frowning:

Nothing. Still on the bill. Dunno where that rumour came from.

Edit : just saw that the artist page was not online anymore on the official site. Might be some technical problem. I’ll check it out for you.

=> That’s sorted ! 1349 is back online. Thanks for pointing that out.

Thanks!

Woohoo!

Firstly I like to say a massive HELLLOOOO to everybody who’s on the Forum. This will be our 1st time to Hellfest and We can’t bloody wait !! I have a question reference to how much it will cost for a ticket for a 12 year old who will be attending with his Dad. The information section on this seems quite confusing. From looking, it appears that a child of 12 years old will obtain free entry providing that they are giong with a Family member? Could you please clarify this for me.
Many thans in advance…and… ROCK ON !!! \m/ \m/

Your’re right Crazy Steve : that’s quite confusing so I’ll get it checked out for you.
But to me, I think your daughter is entitled to a 50% discount.
I’ll update this asap.

@Crazy Steve : it’s free for a child under twelve. If your daughter is twelve, she entitled to a discount (half-price) which can only be purshased directly at the festival gates.

Summary :

  • under 12 : free (but be accompanied by a parent or an adult providing proof that the parents allow the kid to there - copy of passport compulsory)
  • from 12 to 16 : half-price pass that can only be purshased at the festival gates. Must be accompanied by a parent or an adult providing proof that the parents allow the kid to there - copy of passport compulsory)
  • over 16 : full-price. Must be accompanied by a parent or an adult providing proof that the parents allow the kid to there - copy of passport compulsory)

Thankyou for replying to my post MetalWombat. That does clarify it somewhat for us. Just one more question on the subject though. Does this mean that we will need to buy a full priced ticket in advance for the 12 Year old and then receive the 50% discount on arrival? Or does this mean that we will need to just pay for the half price ticket on arrival ? (with the proof of identity obviously)
Thanks once again mate. We’re counting down the days. What a top, top Line-up !!! \m/ \m/

You’re welcome, mate. You just need to pay for the 1/2 price ticket for the young one on arrival with the proof of identity.
Don’t worry if there’sa sold out announcement or whatever in between : there is a sufficient stock of passes dedicated to that purpose.

Does anyone what know what was the daily people capacity of Hellfest 2010?

20.000 if I remember right.

That’s up to 25,000 a day, no more.

Days are usually quite warm but evenings are chilly.
There has not been much rain since the festival is on in Clisson (2006) apart from the disastrous and muddy 2007 edition.
You’ll be able to communicate with many people as about 30% of the festival-goers are foreigners.

CHEERS! We are coming from the US and this is our first festival. Incredible festival lineup. I damn near came to tears when I saw the bands on Stage 2 on Saturday night! GERMAN THRASH abounds!! Plus the mighty Mekong Delta and Whiplash!

My questions are: Is there usually signing tents, where you will have a oppurtunity to meet some of the bands? And if so, if there information available for what times they are signing? Would love the chance to get a picture with some of these once in a lifetime bands!

Secondly, we have a radio show here in the States and would love to do to a feature on the festival.
Who should I submit a request for a photo/media pass to? Are there any restriction on professional cameras (detachable lenses), if I am not able to receive a photo pass?

Great job on the collection of diverse bands. We look forward to finally experiencing the unbelievable atmosphere of one of the great European festivals!

There is a signing tent but the schedule is only known on the D-day.

Regarding the request for the photo/media pass, you’ve got to fill a form on the officiel website (click on ‹ English › (top right corner, than click on ‹ pro zone ›).
