Your questions about Hellfest!

Oh think I’ve got it

Yep, the building next to/above the roundabout on your map link is where you’ll get your tickets/bracelets. From there the campsite is pretty much all the fields on that side of the road (festival grounds on the other side). The festival entrance is along the Route de Saint Crespin, on the left side of the bridge that goes over the road. Probably more or less that brown patch of field.

Correct !!!

Ah cool, I thought that building was McDonalds, did I hear correctly thats there’s one near by? :open_mouth:

Where is the car park, is it along D149, but then isn’t that a main road, or do they have permission to close it? Isn’t the car park a little to close to the campsite, I can imagine people throwing glass bottles etc over the fench, or isn’t Hellfest like that?

I’m hoping it to be a friendly festival but beer can always turn things around :stuck_out_tongue:

There’s a MCdo at a few miles away from the site
The road is closed and the parking continue on the other side of the road and there are some fields also.
Never had any problem with the parking.

Ah cool. One more question I promise this won’t I mean will be the last. If I wanted a beer how many tokens is that, and what value is a token, 1 token = €1?

1 token= 1€ and the beer (if i remember well) is 2 tokens. (same for the glass of wine)

2€ = half-pint of Kronenbourg
3€ = half-pint of Grimbergen
You will be able to buy tokens on Thursday evening nearby the Metal Corner: wise move if you want to avoid the usual endless queues on Friday inside the concert arena

half-pint of Grimbergen, Guiness or white 1664 are 3€

Beer in France is getting more expensive than in Norway… unbelievable.

3e. is not so much…in Athens I pay 5e./ 6e. for 500ml - yeah we re so rich :PPPPP

half a pint, it is a metal festival im going to isnt it? We need pints :stuck_out_tongue: and massive jugs!

No cans in the arena I take it? Can we take bottles of water into the arena or will security suspect its vodka or something?

5€/6€ for half a litre of beer (not a pint, really) is not a bad European festival price, more like low average. Anyway…the small cups can be a little annoying, especially when you want to go see/wait for a band and would rather have more beer with you. On the other hand you certainly won’t end up with a cup half-full of warm beer.

You can take a non-alcoholic bottle in without the cap on (but sometimes security seems to vary with this rule, and in any case you can just put the cap in your pants or bag). They’ll smell it if they suspect it to be alcoholic.

they started with the big jugs last year, and there was talk of them being more economical this year. wine is a better deal in terms of getting you proper mashed in the arena, after getting your headstart for breakfast back at the camp of course!

Are the beers pints or half-pints ? I’m getting lost now. If they’re pints then the price is OK.

Concerning warm beer, well, a pint is not long to drink, so even if it’s 30 degrees it’s going fast

I think there is the two of them. You can have a pint or a half pint. Am I wrong ?

Even 1L cup.

25cl cup or 1 litre jug

So the cheapest beer will be 6euro per 0,5L? I hope that beer is at least 4,5% :stuck_out_tongue:

All beers will be over 4.5. Don’t worry, it’s Not Norway where even French, Dutch and English beers are sold in a alcohol-hinthered version.

Unfortunately as written above, the prices are crazy, it’s getting as expensive as in Norwegian pubs. The beer is a bit better though.
