I would only put on a an amount on the card that you will need for drink, as you will not be able to get a refund on what is left at the end of the festival. If you’ve got the new cashless cards you can use the app to load money onto your card (allegedly). I would avoid the Hellfest food outlets the food is absolutely dreadful, eat at the the other food outlets there is much more variety and the quality is top notch.
Does anyone know if the dates for 2017 are set and if so when it will be?
The exact dates are not know, yet, but Hellfest takes place on the 3rd week-end of June each year.
Damn, guys, I must be blind, be cannot find what I need.
My train from Nantes to Paris departs at 5:56 AM June 20. How can I make it after the festival if I wanna see Deicide that finish at 01:45? How often do the shuttles go at night? What’s the place of departure? Any chance of booking?
Hi Boruh,
there’s shuttles from festival to Nantes, at the end of the festival. Even if you pack and grab your stuff after the last show, and go to the entrance of the festival to wait for a shuttle, I think you’ll get your train easily
@Boruh:
All you need in the link below:

Thank you, didn’t know how they decided
Conveniently, the weekends are clear cut and don’t overl;ap with May, so looking like June 16/17 in 2017
Can’t wait, will be our first time
We will be travelling from Canada to attend this. Seems like it would be very difficult to bring or buy everything needed for camping, but we could… We also plan to stay for several days after to tour southern France and Spain.
I presume some stay at hotels in Nantes and go back and forth to the concert site via car or bus. We might try that. Has anyone here done this? How was it???
Hello
Apparently this year there will be a décathlon stand at hellfest (décathlon is a sports store).
Could be useful for you
Seems, I somehow didn’t noticed there’s no need to book it. OK, I guess what I saw last year were shuttles to Nantes (if it was close to main entrance), so now it’s clear for me.
Thankz!
Hey guys,
A few Aussies here who’ve never been to Europe and are making the pilgrimage for Hellfest. We’ll be taking a bus from Paris to Hellfest as part of our ticket. The 300euro (if I recall correctly) ticket.
Few questions regarding that bus. It doesn’t say where the bus leaves from on the ticket and the only information I can find says the bus departs from the Place de la Nation. Just want to confirm that is correct? And secondly, can we bring all our camping gear with us on the bus? We’re currently residing in Germany for a few months (to see Wacken too) so buying it here won’t be a problem.
Cheers in advance!
Hello,
I just thought people might like to know that there are mega cheap bus tickets from Paris to Nantes (then you can get the train) from only €5! going with megabus. have a look at megabus.com
Hey guys,
I have a few questions
They wrote that I need to buy « water bracelet ». Is that true?
also, what to expact? according to this map: http://aiko-creative.com/apps/hellTrackers/tracker_plan.jpg
they check our tickets at the white flag point, and then we go straight to « 3 »? where do we get the cashless card and the key to our locker (which we bought)? does anyone know when do we meet on thursday?
Ich kann auch Deutsch! я знаю русский!
Thank you!
Marika
Ech schwätzen kéin Russisch.
EN: Your bracelets are to be picked up either near the roundabout of the guitar (not on the map), or on the number (Black) 3 on the map you linked. (depending on where you arrive)
Then you get your card on the (Black) number 10 (which should be close by).
The lockers are on the number (Orange) 2.
You will forgive me on my colourblindness however.
Sagt alles/Says it all. (die englische Übersetzung/the English translation)
haha natürlich!
Leider ist Deutsch nicht meine Muttersprache, aber ich glaube dass du mir verzeihen auch wirst
Also ich habe hier kein Russisch gesehen. Ich finde es kommisch.
und wo befindet sich diese Gitearre ungefähr?
Danke schön!
also 19:00? alles ist auf Französisch, und ich weiß nicht, was sie entscheiden haben.
Eine definitive Entscheidung ist noch nicht gemacht. Behalte den Thread im Auge. Vor allem den ersten Post.
Beim Eingang des Campingplatzes.
Hi, sorry if this has already been asked. Ryanair changed the time of our flight and now we won’t arrive until 22.30 on Thursday. Will this be a problem getting access to campsite/easycamp?
