I guess not. With your ticket. But not 100% sure.
It will be ok:
« The Easy Camp Village access from June 17th 5pm to 20th noon. »
Open H24.
Thanks guys. I presume it is a typo on the Hellfest site where it says 17th as the easycamp tickets say 16th.
Exactly, typo from Hellfest site.
I’ve already taken that bus 2 times (2007 and last year). You’ll find it easily on Place de la Nation (metro Nation that you can catch on either line 1,2,6 or 9): there will be like 6 or 8 buses parked around the metro station and hundred of metalhead waiting beside to get on board. You can bring all your camping gear with you, no problem.
The bus travel is quite long, around the double amount of time you take by taking a car, and some of the buses make some detour to pick up some people on cities on the countryside which makes even bigger problems of delay. If one of the guys travelling with you arrives late, or got drunk last night at a party (it’s the season of the after-exams in college), the bus will have to wait for them to come (I’ve already lived this, it’s a true pain). When the bus arrives at Clisson it’s already something like 4h30 and of course there is already like 15km of trafic by this hour. which means it will take you one more hour before you’ll finaly reach the festival site. The only good point is that the bus drops you by the entrance of the camping site (so you don’t have something like 2 km walking from your car to the camping) and it picks you up on sunday after the fest atb the same point. Same problem: if someone has passed over during the last night of festival, your bus will have to wait a looong time before leaving…
I really would not recommand this transport solution except if you don’t have any other choices…
Yes, it’s a bracelet that gives you access to the showers and sinks. On the map, it’s on location noted 3 (Douches, which means showers in french).
You can buy them nearby point number 6. It will be a stand called « Water point » or « Point Eau » in french.
I once arrived at 3 o’clock at hellfest (in 2008 if I remember well): So do not worry, as long as you have your ticket, the access to camping will be opened at any hour of the day and night from thursday noon till monday afternoon
I have a ticket for a 2 person Kartent in Easy Camp and am probably arriving before my companion. Can we check into our tent separately or do we have to do it together? If separate, how do we do it? Can I just give her a copy of the ticket to scan?
Hi folks.
Quick questions regarding floods and fuel. Understand you’ve just had some pretty severe weather (!) and wondered if this is likely to have a lasting impact on travel that some of us might need to know about? Also seems that there’s a unions issue affecting fuel - are the stories exaggerated or should car users actually be worried?
Thanks
No worries about fuel, it’s solved now.
But now that we have fuel we lost the road…
The bookelt is available [url=http://www.hellfest.fr/programme-hellfest/] Here.
Sorry, it’s only in french .
I’m already regreting to get there on Friday morning instead of Thursday. Will the queue be that long? and the campsite extremely crowded?
This Festival and all the planning is already getting on my nerves!
Do I read correctly, that i have to book a shuttle from the airport and also have to pay 10€ for it? I don’t even know at the moment If I need a shuttle… Or is booking for free and I have just to pay in the bus if I need it? this is confusing…
The trip is €10, reservation is for free. (but I think you should show up, depending on delays you might encounter)
But there’s also the train! (I reckon it should be easy to get from Nantes airport to Nantes SNCF (Railway station) and catch a train! Unless you arrive at night.
Actually, there is also a bus (line NA) to Nantes SNCF. (€8 for one hour)
From Nantes you can get a train to Clisson (€10 weekend ticket in combination with your Hellfest ticket = €5 per trip)
Info on this option: [url=http://www.tan.fr]www.tan.fr, but I’m not sure if available in English.
[url=http://www.ter.sncf.com]www.ter.sncf.com for the trains.
So, it’s up to you!
There is no flood problem in the west of France. The rivers around Clisson are as normal as usual.
For tue fuel problem, it’s not sorted at all even though we can say there is a lull in the fuel shortage. The region around Nantes (and Clisson in the same time) is dependant on one refinery, the Donges refinery. It has always been the first french refinery to start a strike and the last one to end it. They are still on strike today so i recommend you to fill your tank before arriving on Clisson area (like a 100km before it). There are no problem today about fuel on Clisson but for example there is no fuel around Nantes airport.
In 1 week, there could be a panic movement and a real fuel shortage (like 2 weeks ago). The strike could also end and you will find fuel everywhere. Just dont tempt fate, fill your tank before arrinving around Nantes (~100km).
@Baum : you read it well. Its 10€ to go from Nantes airport to Nantes railway station with « Hellfest cabs » (and you need to book it). With Nantes public transportation (tan) its 8€ but you have to take the bus (8€ navette) and then the tramway (~1,50€). It’s quite long.
When do you land on Nantes ? I work at « 18, rue de l’aéronautique BOUGUENAIS » and live at 5km from the festival. If you land around 18:00/19:00 on monday, tuesday, wednesday or thursday, you could have a free ride (it will cost you between nothing and a beer ;).
Wasn’t that Nantes Airport ↔ CLISSON??? As far as I read it, it was!
The €8 Nantes Airport ↔ Nantes SNCF was the « normal » Airport Shuttle I found on TAN. (and I specifically wrote Nantes SNCF, not some stop somewhere to change on the tramway)
Either way, this is confusing.
Oh ! You’re right. It’s 10€ from Nantes airport directly to Clisson. My bad.
But ! You need to book one taxi ticket for that ([url=https://www.eventbrite.fr/e/billets-navette-hellfest-2016-hellfest-shuttle-2016-22219486081]here) but the link says the « hellfest taxis » starts on Thursday the 16th at 7AM and ends on Monday the 20th at 14PM. I’m not sure everyone land or take off during this period of time.
Ah ok… I don’t like that I don’t think I will book that shuttle to Hellfest for 10€ … I don’t even know If I’ll need it…
I’ll arrive at 10:40am … If I want to, I could go to Clisson by foot!
Is aber 'n bisschen laufen!
hab ja 5-6 Stunden Zeit
