Your questions about Hellfest!

Clisson is so small that every room must be booked from one year to another… some inhabitants propose accommodations or space in their garden, though, but I do not know where to look… anyone?

You can try that link for locals who rent rooms etc :

(Not much to see yet)

Thanks for the tip. There’s still places in Nantes available and I heard there are trains and shuttles from there in another forum… is that true? I’m gonna need good transport to and from the festival site if I’m staying the night at another location

No trains at night to go back to Nantes, though, and I read that the shuttle service is quite… chaotic, on a first arrived/first to go basis, with many people arriving when the next shuttle is not there yet. Many people go to the campsite from one year to another without ever being robbed, even if it’s true you must be careful, and you can rent a big locker to put your most expensive belongings!

I did stay in à Nantes hotel this year and while it is very easy to get to the HF in the morning (train plus small shuttle vans) the return can be a bit more hectic . Getting the bus back requires some luck as mentioned above but I think there were also some night trains (at 1 and/or 3 am ) but then you need to walk back in the dark to Clisson station for a good 20-30 minutes…

Stealing is not a huge problem if you’re careful. Like, basic rules of security shouldn’t be missed. Dont leave your things you afraid to lose unattended, etc etc you hear it in public transport every day I think.

Then, you always can rent a locker of different sizes. I haven’t seen them (when I remembered to rent one, they were sold out), but they promise depending on size you’re able to store documents, cellphones, camera, or even average bag with clothes. So, first thing to do is leave your ID in there, cause nobody asks it, even when you look like a child and buy booze in supermarket  Other things - when you don’t need them - store them. Paid lockers are available 24/7.

Next, there will be rented camps in restricted area with additional security, and since list of people allowed to this campsite is strictly limited, I assume there’s no chance to be robbed in that small part of camping. And another bonus - you don’t need to carry your own camp and sleeping bag (which half of your belongings), they’re included to package. Last year prices was like 200 euro for two-place camp, 500 for 5-place, and there was third offer, also 5-place, i don’t remember difference of it. Rent of these camps should be opened like in April or so. I’m sure there’s someone who used that offer and will tell more about rented camps.

Hello! Sorry if my question has been answered elsewhere, but i am wondering if it is possible to transfer 1 day of a 3 day pass to someone else. My husband and i will only be able to attend 2 out of 3 days, but would like to transfer the remaining 1 day from our 3 day passes to a couple of friends. Is it in fact possible to do this?
Thanks in advance for any tips!
Jackie

Sorry but no.

We’ve used the lockers every year except for the first time we came, and I can say it didn’t feel comfortable hiding wallets, passports, car keys and phones in our tent whilst we were in the main areas. The lockers have always given us peace of mind to keep those valuables (and they really are valuable when you’re taking a boat, plane or train back across the Channel!) and you can access them 24 hours. Fingers crossed we’ve never had an issue with theft. I will book a locker again next year and it will house wine, keys, passports, phones, and a very small amount of cash. And it’s just an old phone that I shall bring!

On the subject of goodies going missing in the crowd? Seems more likely that phones would find their own way out in the pit - I find it amazing that fellow headbangers would dip their hands into their comrades’ pockets, but there it is.

I don’t think it’s been said here: Zepass and Ticketswap transactions are not secured yet this year (all is explained in the French section), mainly because Weezevent has no partnership with them!

Apparently a solution is being looked for, but in the meantime, no platform can guarantee the safety of resold tickets!

Just wish they would go back to Hard Tickets just like they do it with the few thousand tickets they sell at the first day of festival.

Hard Tickets make everything so much easier.

…except purchasing tickets outside of France…

NO, your 3 day pass can’t be split. If your husband wants to be in Clisson only 2 days, he have to buys one 3 day pass and accepts to loose one day or buys two 1 day pass. (sorry for english, I’m French)

Too bad. Will have to watch for the 1 day passes in that case. Thanks so much for your help! (Your english is great, btw).

Hi all! Any news one when is the line up announcement taking place? Sorry in advance should this questions was submitted already.
